Need guidance: re IP cameras

Friend of mine owns a bar and she would like to put in about 11 cameras of which she can see when she goes back home via the internet. The cameras need moderate zoom, pan, tilt, and IP protocol whether it be to the bar's router or some other method (tell me whats best). What do you guys recommend as far as hardware is concerned in addition to a proper setup? thanks a ton

your question about cameras should be the last one you ask. she will need at least a 2gig up speed at the bar to have a good viewing and at least that at home down. then consider that color uses more bandwidth than black & white. i find that video servers work much better than dvrs. also i find that logging into a business network is safer to view that having the cameras facing the internet. demand static ip for the bar internet. i like axis video servers. hope this helps
