[Official] Anime/Manga Thread

Recommended Posts

So it's TBTP, sweet. Anything out of place in anime so far? Or is it being loyal to manga?

So far it's pretty loyal. They added little bits here and there from what I remember, but nothing that ruins the story at all. Things they added are like a little more to actions scenes, a little more dialog. It's all good so far.

Goody Strike witches might just be getting a second season.

it's been confirmed a couple times (by different sources) that it will be getting a second season. but we finally got some official confirmation late yesterday from sankaku:

"Fans of loli pantsu can heave a sigh of relief with the news that the anime Strike Witches is set to get its second series, just as has long been anticipated.

Details are lacking, but this seems to mean a (presumable) autumn 2009 airing at the earliest, though next year may also be possible. The announcement is carried by no less than three magazines (and the early DVD), whose issues we get to see early thanks to the fact that 2ch’s anime boards have any number of denizens who happen to work in the stores getting the magazine stock early. Thus it is beyond doubt."

who by?

i haven't seen the episode but i can only guess between Taiga and Minorin based on what happened last episode. although Ami might be involved too....bah i'll just watch

Whoa, I didn't know Fullmetal Alchemist was still running (atleast the manga). Can anyone fill me in? I left off where the series ended (and I presume the movie was a parallel), it's right after Ed uses his own body to do some transmutation.. heh looks like I've forgotten everything now :p.

The Manga is completely different to the Anime. The Manga starts to change around the time when they meet Greed, the Manga is 3> Anime.

Anime was good, but the Anime is so good. They are making new Hagaren No Renkinjutsushi, but this one will be more loyal to Manga.

The manga explains what happened when they did the human transmutation, and so on, hikari no hoenheim is not even referenced in the anime, much less spoken about.

The anime is more comprehensive and not a mish mash, like the anime.

Huge spoiler, do not read if u havent read up to chapter 80 or fma.

He was a Slave, his original name was Slave 32 or 23, and the name was given to him by the first humonculus

Awesome. Makes me wonder if Naruto after awakening all his sage powers and what not will now be able to control the 9 tails in such a powered up form? Or if him and the Kyubi reached some sort of agreement? Can't wait to see next week.

Also I don't think Hinata is dead, to many of the "older generation" have been whiped out. Like Kakashi said, it's time for the younger generation to take over, they can't do that if they're all dead.

lol neo.

Man, bleach was pretty good, but seemed to be like 4 pages long. Seriously, can we get more than 2 sword swings a fight?

Yeah...no kidding...so what happened, that is the question? Was it Ichigo or someone else do it? Did Ichigo finally learn a new power or what? Or was it what's her face(can't think to spell her name right atm) using her power against him? Questions and stupid cliffhangers!

    • I think this will appeal to a lot of enthusiasts. If the thermals are similar to those of a single system in a compact case, many people running multiple systems may choose to combine them into one machine, provided the case footprint remains reasonable.
    • No, "a great deal" for 32GB of DDR5 is $50, not $350. I mean I see what you mean, that it's a decent price compared to what's currently available, but you really should put a disclaimer in this articles explaining that it's still multiple times more expensive than it used to be.
    • Linux 7.1 stable launch looms as Linus Torvalds releases the final release candidate by Paul Hill Linus Torvalds has just released what’s expected to be the final release candidate of Linux 7.1, rc7. The Linux founder said that this RC is not small, but smaller than recent releases, which is a good sign because he expects the stable version to drop next week if things continue on this trajectory. Linux kernels see a merge window for the first two weeks of their life, where developers add new features, then there are about seven or eight weeks of release candidates before the stable version. Typically, there are seven release candidates, but if more time is needed, then an eighth release candidate is released too. This week’s RC’s biggest area of fixes was for GPUs, with networking just behind. Torvalds said that the rest of the release was “pretty random and spread out” with some architecture fixes, driver fixes, filesystem improvements, and build fixes for more unusual configs. In terms of specific pieces of hardware receiving improvements in this update, we had more AMD Zen6 models supported and fixes for AMD SDMA 7.1 and GFX11. Hardware that got improvements includes Lenovo laptops, HONOR laptops, and MSI laptops. Here are the changelogs for those: ASoC: amd: acp: Add DMI quirk for Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 15ASH11 Input: atkbd - add DMI quirk for Lenovo Yoga Air 14 (83QK) Input: atkbd - skip deactivate for HONOR BCC-N's internal keyboard ASoC: amd: yc: Add MSI Raider A18 HX A9WJG to quirk table ASoC: amd: yc: Enable internal mic on MSI Bravo 17 C7VF When the stable Linux 7.1 is released, it will be up to distribution maintainers, such as Canonical and Red Hat, to release the update to their users via the update manager. Some versions of Linux will get it before others, and some will never get it at all. Fedora and Arch-based distros will be among the first to get it, though. If you don’t get it, the security fixes will be backported to your system’s kernel, so you won’t be at risk, but you won’t get newer hardware support, which is fine if your computer works now.
