Found this... what do you make of it?

Isn't that the anime "Berserk"? The characters look almost identical... The dark skinned girl looks like Casca and the warrior is Guts. Guts is also well known for slicing tens of enemies in half with one swing of his GIGANTIC sword.

I put my bets on "Berserk". If it is, it looks horrible since it looks too clean and happy to be a continuation of the epic Berserk manga/anime.

It is Berserk done this time by Studio 4?c so it can't be that bad...

also you think there's anything missing from my anim? list?

It looked like Muramasa was able to tell that Ichigo has a VL inside him. I wonder if he is going to try and rip that part of of him as well......

that was Zangatsu who told Muramasa that the hollow is another soul residing in ishigo

but i think that is bizarre since the hollow said that he and Zangatsu are one/same

i guess maybe Muramasa can only call out Zanpaktou , so the hollow part got left out ?

Don't write it off totally until we see some sort of animation released from Studio 4?C. That said, it could also be cut-scenes for a game based off the original manga.

Need to read Bleach, and Kemono no Soja Erin has been sad since Jone passed away:((

Radish?

Interesting that they're putting Puck in there so maybe they're going for the full manga effect instead of the really cut down, but really awesome, version from the first anime.

New Bleach and Naruto manga out.

Great ending for the fight in bleach, felt a little short though.

and in naruto, sasuke goes super saijin in the end LOL.

What do you figure that was behind Sasuke before he slaughtered all those samurai? It looked like Naruto in Kyuubi mode, but I'm not sure why it would have been in that frame.

That is what I was wondering and thought as well. It sure did look like naruto in fox form. Maybe it was showing how lost he was in his hatred.... and how sinister and evil he has become due to it... hard to say, but can't wait to see it drawn out in anime :p

I'm wondering what the heck is it that Madara wants to talk about. Kakashi, Yamato and Naruto agains Madara would be a pretty awesome fight (if they end up fighting, but I doubt it).

And Raichu vs. Sasuke, the fight everyone was waiting for.

Compare and contrast with my list. We only share 62 anime series. I watched 200. I think you're missing 20 or so worthwhile ones. As I state on my profile, 8+ is a must watch while 7 is a story with some loopholes but decent.

so what would the 20 or so be?

:p I forgot you only recently joined MAL. There's a neat feature that allows you to check the anime that is unique to a user's profile. If you go to my page while logged into your account, you can click on "Anime unique to arimakenshin". You can then sort the anime by the rating I gave it.

im going to start watching Neon Genesis Evangelion.

A bunch of people on here seem to like it, and i need more things to watch then fma, and bleach.

You should check out Eureka Seven then. Neon Genesis Evangelion is a genre defining anime series. If you enjoy NGE, then look into RahXephon (one of my favorite all time) and Akira.

I was kinda hoping for recommendations.

I personally can't stand Neon Genesis Evangelion. It's convoluted and the main character is a whiny ass (in my opinion) and I can't stand him. There are much better animes to check out I think. I'd suggest some if you're interested.

I started reading Bleach manga series just to see what the hype and fuss is all about. It's not original but it's certainly an entertaining read. The one thing I'm finding annoying is the random Mexican influences in the battles (Vol. 28+?). Very awkward transitions to say the least. It certainly is nowhere near a 9+/10 manga but it definitely is enjoyable to anyone who enjoys alot of action with a tinge of drama/romance.

Neon Genesis Evangelion might not be the best anime series ever created but it is definitely in the top 10 most influential and genre defining. The fusion of mecha, psychological horror, fatally flawed characters brought together with a style not seen in anime makes it unique.

^Ever checked out Soukyuu no Fafner? I've seen the first 2 episodes and so far only those 2. To me those looked like a direct copy of NGE and RahXephon mixed together, which is the reason why I only watched 2 episodes.

Granted. But it's just not something I can get into, when the main character is so annoying I can only watch an episode in bits of 2-3 minutes at a time. I also don't think it should be suggested to someone who is just getting into anime as one of their first to watch, for the very reasons you listed. I only know one other person that shares that opinion with me though. *shrug* Imo none of the OVA's or movies improve it in any way either.

im on Neon genesis episode 8 now, and i cant blame anyone for not liking it.

it dosnt seem attention grabbing or anything, but 8 episodes in and theres a bit of interest growing. seems there spending a long time character building first.

    • When will the Photos app be updated to remember the window size and position when reopened? They addressed this issue in a 2024 version of the app (though I can't recall the build number). Unfortunately, after that specific version, the problem persists! Please prioritise this fix in your K2 schedule. Additionally, the Snipping Tool has lost the ability to capture the Windows Taskbar starting from the 2024 version!

    • Anthropic pulls Fable 5 and Mythos 5 after US export control order by Pradeep Viswanathan In April this year, Anthropic launched the Claude Mythos Preview frontier model with state-of-the-art cyber and coding capabilities for a select set of companies around the world. After preparing appropriate guardrails, early this week, Anthropic launched Claude Fable 5 and Mythos 5, its most capable AI models. Claude Fable 5 is for general users and comes with strict safeguards, while Mythos 5 is designed with fewer safeguards for cybersecurity and biology use cases. Today, Anthropic abruptly suspended access to its Fable 5 and Mythos 5 AI models for all customers after receiving an export control directive from the US government. The company received the directive from the government today at 5:21 p.m. ET, and the received letter did not provide any details regarding the national security concern. Anthropic understands that the government became aware of a method to bypass, or “jailbreak,” Fable 5, which might be the reason behind the directive. The order was issued under national security authorities and requires the company to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether they are inside or outside the United States. The restriction also applies to foreign national employees working at Anthropic. As a result, the company has disabled both models for all customers to ensure compliance. Access to previous Anthropic models like Opus and Sonnet is not affected by this government order. The company highlighted that it had developed strong safeguards to reduce the possibility that Fable is misused for tasks related to cybersecurity. In fact, many developers are complaining that the safeguards are going overboard. Additionally, the company worked with the US government, the UK AISI, multiple private third-party organizations, and internal teams to red-team Fable’s safeguards for thousands of hours. Finally, Anthropic noted that no testers have yet been able to find a universal jailbreak on Fable 5. As expected, Anthropic disagrees that a narrow potential jailbreak should lead to the recall of a commercial model used by hundreds of millions of people. It warned that applying this standard across the AI industry could effectively halt new frontier model deployments. Anthropic concluded by mentioning that it is working to restore access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 as soon as possible and plans to share more details within the next 24 hours.
