[Official] Anime/Manga Thread

I agree. As long as it's entertaining to whoever is watching it who cares what the intended audience is. People say Naruto was made for kids...I'm not a kid but I enjoy it. So what?

Exactly. It's kinda like movies and critics/ratings. I read the critics/ratings just to see how they're thinking about the movie. If I wanna see the movie, I'll still see it no matter what others say about it.

@yurithedragonhalf: It's what you where saying though.. I don't think you can judge an anime just by watching 1 episode.

Tokyo Magnitude 8.0's latest episode was a bit chilling to the bone as Yuuki was a detailed figment of Mirai's imagination (he died) since being at the hospital :o

The sad part is that Mirai knows her brother pretty well inside out :(

Radish?

Wow, you making me want to see the last 3 episodes all at once. I'm a bit behind with Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 due to school. Gonna watch the latest 3 all at once on Wednesday :)

Man they should've ended deathnote with L beating Kira, Near was retard. It was good though now to watch FMA.

Also

much win.

You should check the whole OST out. It's all made of win :p Have you seen the SAC gigs as well?

She and Her Cat is completely overrated. It's such an average attempt (regardless of the fact that it was made by only one person) by the producer who made Voices of a Distant Star. It's a sweet 5 minutes of nothing.

Personally think it's 5 minutes of animation you don't have to over-analyse. Just accepting it for what it is and for this reason it's done well :)

Radish?

Awesome episode of FMA:BH. I'm starting to like Lin, at first he was annoying but now he seems cool.
new fma was awesome. i was impressed by the arm tactic' very clever. i just cant get over how well done this series is. the music' art' and flow of story is just all top notch.

I agree, totally action-packed! :o I'm glad Ran Fan survived with the arm tactic. Everyone is slowly coming together

Radish?

    • I understand Microsoft's intention here, at least I think I do. There have been so many printer driver related problems over the years due to OEM printer drivers not be compatible with the latest Windows update, that Microsoft wants to eliminate those by controlling the printer driver updates and keeping them compatible with the latest Windows update. That is okay as far it goes, but what it can do is put limitations on printers that wouldn't be there with OEM drivers since the OEM printer drivers are not universal drivers. It's a tradeoff and one can only hope it doesn't turn all Windows printers into $69 Brother printers.
    • Vivaldi is a very unique browser. It's the only chromium based browser that has its own powerful and fully customizable UI. It even supports CSS like firefox based browsers do. If someone wants a powerhouse chromium based browser, Vivaldi is actually his only option. All other chromium based browsers just tweak the vanilla chromium UI. It also comes from an ethical company that has proved its ethics all these years. Something very rare in the chromium world... (all other companies which develop chromium based browsers own an ad company, Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera etc).
    • I really wish Zoom would have been the collaboration tool most organizations ended up with. Teams is garbage.
    • While I agree that in some instances you should be wary of the government, shouldn't we also be wary of corporations that have the money, reach and power of many governments? Having good regulations is essential for population protection (from corps trying to make more money than the other guy). At least we can vote in and out governments, but these days your choice of consumer tech is now only a few very large players. And we also know "consumers" are idiots and need protecting, it's literally the government's job to deliver those services.
