[Official] Anime/Manga Thread

well it'll give me more names that i can give to hard drives.

The cast is ridiculously long. Several different main characters. So epic.

:p I also name my hard drives that way. It's named after Ghost in the Shell, FMP! and RahXephon characters. Same goes with computer names.

Watched the first episode of Shonan Junai Gumi (prequel to GTO) and it's damn hilarious with Onizuka (nearly mounted from the rear ) and Ryuji's antics from their younger days (Y) :D

After this, I'll probably re-watch GTO again

Radish?

I can't wait 'till the manga is fully translated. Onizuka ftw!

Anyone else watching Railgun at the moment?
Not myself but I think Capric0rn is.

Radish™

I was, until I figured that it's way different compared to "To Aru Majutsu no Index" which I didn't expect. I thought it be a whole lot more like "To Aru Majutsu no Index" with action packed episodes, humor, a the drama which came with it. That's also what I took out of the teasers since Kuroko is part of Judgment (an anti criminal group in Academy City).

Instead, it's a story about school girls, which I'm not really interested in. It's just not the type of anime that I'd would watch. Plus I don't like to much Loli in my anime :)

On a side note: has anyone seen Spriggan?

Loli just isn't my thing. Also, the first few episodes which I had seen only gave the indication about it being a story about school girls. There just wasn't enough story in it for me.

Lolis are cute.

But I still prefer some older girls, like Nagisa or Madoka.

Kemono no Soja Erin is coming to an end soon :/ Really enjoyed watching Erin's character in action as she changed into a defiant/strong adult and her inner values because of what she goes through as a child (Y)

    • Any so called performance increase will be in milliseconds, which nobody will actually notice in real world usage.
    • All it does is use the CPU more efficiently during boot to speed up boot times. That's it. Yawn....
    • It's not a one or the other kind of thing. Software should run efficiently, and the operating system should appropriately manage the CPU clocks. You could have the best most optimized software on earth, and it will still run faster if the CPU does a better job of boosting as needed. All this is doing is pre-boosting the CPU based on user actions, instead of waiting for the normal detection mechanism to kick in. If the OS knows it is about to need more CPU, why shouldn't it use that knowledge? It's the same idea of downshifting before passing someone, instead of just burying your foot into the peddle and waiting for the transmission to figure out what you want to do.

    • There really isn't anything magical about the low latency profile, other OS's do this as well. All they're doing is using your CPUs boost clock options in a more smarter way.
