I'm all for Sengoku Nadeko. :p

I forgot Hanekawa :p

Finished Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu - Purezza, I LOL'ed when Akiho exploded with power against Gentou

But kind of a poor episode overall with just fanservice, it should have ended with the idol arc :/ Though I'm guessing a 3rd season is on the horizon with marriage and possibly Shiina getting more involved (Y)

Radish?

yeah the ending seemed to be a bit of a let down also i knew they were rich but not Sainzenin Rich.

This is going to immensely fail but I did laugh when she dropped on the guys head at the chemistry lab

Time to catch up with FMA: Brotherhood ....

Radish?

I think the reason it'll fail because so many people have only seen the Anim? movie and not the other two live action movies yes i knew about the one from the 80's but not the second one.

I agree, I've seen the 1983 film but not the 1997 film. There is also a 5 part Japanese drama adaptation, which I'm hunting for now.

Are those recommendable films? So far I've only watched the anime :p

Finished first season of Darker than Black. IMO, ending was a bit weak.

FMA:Brotherhood is better in terms of story progression and appropriateness of comic relief.

Speaking of which, FMA: Brotherhood is by far the best easy going action/fantasy/drama anime of 2009.

After all, it is the end of 2009, one gotta name his/her favorites!! :)

I also tried a few animes (first episode only),

Canaan - WANT. Impression I got was modern 007 except with female characters and superpowers. Good animation.

Sekirei - Stupid. I can watch this, but would I loose brain cells if I continue? That's the golden question.

Samurai Deeper Kyo - Not sure. It might be good, the first episode did not spark much interest. Voice acting in both languages is bad.

Samurai 7 - No. What I seen in the first 30 seconds was enough to convince me that I would never want to watch this.

Here you are.

Regarding Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, is it going to end when the manga finally ends or are "they" going to milk the franchise until its run dry?

Yes they will milk it till the new caw comes along mainly because there's plenty of yaoifan girls who will drink it up even if it is stale.

Also i have just been waiting about 20 minutes for 1 image to load.

What makes you think that? They're following the manga, meaning they'll end the anime the same way the manga ends.

On a side note: I can't wait for the Gundam Unicorn OVA. It has this classic anime look all over it which is a big plus if you ask me :D

I'm using the term in a negative sense because I greatly dislike the path that some mangakas, producers and authors take. They reuse the same formula over and over again and viewers are willing to watch it because they don't mind it all. Bleach, Beck, D.Gray Man and others suffer from this problem and the plot twists all have similar themes, whether it be romance, drama that was introduced a few volumes/episodes earlier or just cliffhanger "will the hero survive this battle?!" scenario. I'm not fine with producers "milking" it and throwing away the satisfaction of a good, memorable ending.

    • Got it. Seem like a good improvement. Thanks. But, before we "Add the source to Trusted Sites," how would know if it is trusted or not? Could get messy for not first Knowing" it is clean. See what I mean?
