A cute ending for Kimi ni Todoke...and Pin was just Pin again. :p

Ooooh, can't wait to watch it

Watched Kowarekake no Orgel last night, an dōjin OVA with a story similar to Chobits! Animation/artwork was definitely above par for a self-published OVA; nicely detailed, fluid and vibrant (the backdrops are just awesome). However, the character development/human emotion within is what makes this shine and recently, a side-story has been announced; which I'm looking forward to now :D

And finished Sora no Woto just now. I was expecting the "moe" characters to be overpowering after watching the first few episodes but as I went through, it turned out to be a really nice series about friendship, music and war, with a hint of mecha. The soundtrack by Michiru Oshima was superb (Y)

Did anyone watched "Eden of the East the Movie I King of Eden", I just got it but haven't had any chance of watching it yet.

Had it for a few days now, just haven't got round to watching it. Might do it tonight.

RapeLay is not that bad, there are some worse things on TV.

The funny thing is Japan has one of the lowest rates of rape in the world (1.9 per 100,000). The CNN report paints the pornographic game as if it might cause people to go out and do such horrible acts in real life. The woman's rights group needs to learn about the Streisand effect.

Nothing is more anti intellectual than a group tries to control what other people regulate the morality of artwork.

It's just hit me that they'll have to ban Evangelion and Code Geass in the UK after the 6th and many many more if upskirts and deemed illegal.

Depends if they will re-evaluate existing anime under the new law, Evangelion 2.0 will be screened in May at London.

I found an amazing anime streaming site. It streams in 480p and 720p. Enjoy: http://www.animedreaming.com/

Why don't you just keep your stuff and Truecrypt an external hard drive? It's such a waste to delete hundreds of hours worth of stuff you painstakingly searched for.

Well, well. Look who was one of the writers behind Ghost in the Shell 2nd GiG: http://myanimelist.n.../Okamura_Tensai

He also was one of the writers for Cowboy Bebop, the creator of the Darker than Black manga, Samurai Champloo and one episode of Ouran High School Host Club. He also one of the key animators of the Ghost in the Shell and was behind some of the episodes of an interesting romantic comedy that had quite a successful run from 1988 to 1992 called Yawara! I can't find any completed subs or translated manga. v_v

I just realized that the most popular Japanese animation manga and anime in the West side of the world are greatly influenced by a select group of people, such as Kenji Kamiyama (Ghost in the Shell, Higashi no Eden, Serei no Moribito).

    • All it does is use the CPU more efficiently during boot to speed up boot times. That's it. Yawn....
    • It's not a one or the other kind of thing. Software should run efficiently, and the operating system should appropriately manage the CPU clocks. You could have the best most optimized software on earth, and it will still run faster if the CPU does a better job of boosting as needed. All this is doing is pre-boosting the CPU based on user actions, instead of waiting for the normal detection mechanism to kick in. If the OS knows it is about to need more CPU, why shouldn't it use that knowledge? It's the same idea of downshifting before passing someone, instead of just burying your foot into the peddle and waiting for the transmission to figure out what you want to do.

    • There really isn't anything magical about the low latency profile, other OS's do this as well. All they're doing is using your CPUs boost clock options in a more smarter way.
    • So we shouldn't have the option because of people using their laptops on battery? OK? LOL
