[Official] Anime/Manga Thread

I guess no Dance in the Vampire Bund for you guys, I'm sorry to hear that.

For that specific anime, it's no loss for me personally.

(Man, Steve's moving head on the left is really annoying )

It looks quite average. Big, typical anime eyes with ecchi shots and maiden in distress situations. I'll withhold judgment until I see the first episode.

A plot like this doesn't really need ecchi IMO.

(Goddammit, now Steve has merged with Twilight :pinch: )

A cute ending for Kimi ni Todoke...and Pin was just Pin again. :p

I was hoping for a confession from either of them at the end but at least both of them sorted out their inner feelings for each other

Hope there is a second season in the works (Y)

Watched the first episode of B Gata H Kei, the hilarious comedy/artwork reminded me of Seto no Hayanome  I think this is my comedy fix for the new season :p

And looking forward to To Aru Hikōshi e no Tsuioku by Madhouse. The very small preview picture indicated steampunk elements (Y)

We have active youth voters. We were the primary reason Obama got voted in. ;)

There isn't a government on this earth who is immune to pressure from sensationalists.

Same here and i just love it and Yukari sounds as cute as ever!

@Radish™: I've read about "To Aru Hikōshi e no Tsuioku" earlier today over at Anime News Network. The plot seemed really interesting so I'm going to keep an eye open for it myself as well :)

I just started watching Kimi ni Todoke. It is the typical concept of an innocent, "cute", naive girl in a care free setting however the anime that seems to share some features with one of my favorite anime series, Kare Kano, such as the different animation to covey introspection and a certain sense of punctuation. It seems to be a great high school anime show but it does not seem to be my cup of tea since high school is a memory of a few years ago. However, it is refreshing to see a lighthearted anime series that doesn't take itself too seriously with exaggerated emotions and simply goes with the flow. The best feature I immediately noticed was the watercolor painting texture of the animation. It matches the atmosphere set by the lighthearted nature of the female protagonist, Sawako. The one con would be the voice actor for Sawako. It sounds a bit forced to sound "cutesy".

I found a fresh batch of anime and manga to watch and read. I'm looking forward to it. Some of the materials might be banned on your side of the pond, Yuri. :shifty:

I keep hearing about this but I don't know what's exactly happened.

Can anyone explain it to me or point me in the right direction?

    • You are clueless. The updates are done in the background so the next time you open Edge the updates are applied automatically. There is no need to close all your tabs. Just keep browsing like you normally do. Clearly you don't use Edge and are just one of those haters that complain for the sake of complaining.
    • I don't get this David. Can you explain it please.
