Will do, The last thing I need is some brainless story. Also I don't like sad ending in the anime I watch, FMA was really good story and great animation but the ending left me sad (which I really hate). Hopefully the new one will end better.

Happy stories with plenty of action, drama and comedy? Check out Eureka Seven, Full Metal Panic! (cliff hanger third season), RahXephon (sad most of the time, happy at the end), Black Lagoon, Beck and Last Exile.

Just finished another Lupin III special - Operation Return the Treasure. Like the title implies, it was funny watching Lupin and the gang returning things for a change, instead of stealing like usual

Bleach filler ending was actually all right. The ending was decent and I liked how all the zanpaks ended up materializing back into their swords. Next week though, back to the good stuff. Looks like from the ending, that the Bleach fights will be great and nicely drawn :)

Sad about the translator dieing. She definitely should have something held for her, as she helped bring us another closer to another culture.

Also, are they still making Lupin the III? or are yall just watching old specials? Cause I sure loved me some lupin and wouldn't want to miss anything new, if it still is as good as it used to be.

I think they are still making TV specials once in a while (last one was "The Last Job", which came out in February 2010), the series ended a while back. Don't know who else is watching Lupin III here but I'm currently going through all the films/TV specials as they are so fun and enjoyable to watch :)

Just watched the first episode of Senkou no Night Raid which I really enjoyed. The overall art looked nice and the early 20th century look of the anime is a big plus! Also, the abilities of each person made this anime quite interesting imo :)

Doesn't compete with my favorite, School Rumble, though... No idea what to watch, now...

If you don't mind manga that tackles drama in a mature way unlike School Rumble but also keeps the funny slapstick humor, check out Kodomo no Omocha. Don't be fooled by the childish animation, the story is quite interesting and quite mature.

My recommendation on MAL:

Kodomo no Omocha, also known as Kodocha, is the more polished, mature version of School Rumble. Wherever School Rumble failed (ex: ending, lame mangaka jokes), Kodocha picked up and illustrated it in a new way. It's a must read for anyone who felt very disappointed after completing School Rumble.

No more cute little girls to watch :p I like stories that dive into the history and personality/history of a person, but I found this filler from bleach just too lolli.

if by that you mean Ichigo going SSJ 5 or something while every 5 minutes we get Orihime squeeking or some other side chara doing something useless or explaining the plot it was often said on /a/ that KT should just scrap the current plot and restart bleach as a fashion Manga .

:laugh::rofl:

Or even better, a few years from now, they will restart Bleach as "Bleach: Brotherhood" and follow the manga instead of zigzagging everywhere.

Interesting. Are you recommending the manga or the anime? I'm gonna check it out tonight. I always wanted a "mature" version of School Rumble to watch alongside of it, haha... (Though some of the ending chapters in the manga were pretty depressing.)

One of the reasons I like School Rumble so much is because it's like 90% of my life story, even down to "Tenma" becoming a nurse, etc. I was beginning to think a friend of mine was the author or something, LOL.

If that's you in your avatar, you certainly have the "Harima" look going on there

Haha, yup, it's me. I remember 3 or 4 years ago in High School, people I didn't really know would come up to me and say "Hey, you look kinda' familiar... ... Harima Kenji? LOL?!"

I was then given the nicknames "Harima" and "Hige"... Turns out quite a few people watched school rumble, and one day we all decided to come to school dressed like Harima Kenji.

Sophomore year. Good times...

Haha, awesome! :D Memories of college were good indeed (Y) :(

/Me plays "Sentimental Generation" out of nostalgia :p

Great start to Giant Killing, captured the competitive essence of football (as well as the managerial problems within clubs) and the character development was decent (Y) The Celtic OP was nice and I liked how the FA Cup was featured as Tatsumi's back-story before he came back to Japan, I'm going to enjoy watching this for sure :)

    • Google's next-gen Tensor AI chips might be produced by Samsung, report says by Hamid Ganji Image via Google Google’s Tensor Processing Unit (TPU) is produced in collaboration with companies such as Broadcom and TSMC, but a recent report suggests that the search giant is in talks with Samsung to hand over part of the production to the Korean tech company. According to a report by The Information, citing people familiar with the matter, Google has begun talks with Samsung about using its chip manufacturing capacity for the next generation of Tensor AI chips. Google’s upcoming TPUs are reportedly codenamed “Icefish” and will be produced using Samsung's 2-nanometer process technology. Meanwhile, Samsung is expected to produce only a portion of the next-generation Tensor chips, with most of the production remaining at TSMC. The Information says the new Tensor chips are currently in the design stage and are scheduled to enter mass production in 2028. TSMC is generally considered one of the most reliable chip manufacturing partners and is trusted by tech giants such as Apple and Google. However, the growing demand for TSMC’s AI chips, combined with the company’s focus on meeting demand from AI data centers, has reportedly prompted Google to seek additional manufacturing partners for its next-generation TPUs. Besides Samsung and TSMC, Intel could also be assigned part of the production. The Information reported this week is that Google has begun talks with Intel to produce up to three million TPUs in 2028. However, this is not the first time Google has partnered with Samsung on chip production, as Samsung has previously manufactured Tensor chips for Pixel smartphones. Google’s Tensor Processing Unit is used in cloud data centers and competes with NVIDIA’s chips, which currently dominate the market. By relying on in-house chips, Google can not only reduce its dependence on third-party providers but also create new revenue opportunities. The company has already supplied its TPUs to the AI firm Anthropic.
    • Reminder that the Premium and Ultimate plans already come with a 100 hour per month limit, which you then have to pay more to increase in 15 hour blocks.
    • It does invite Linux because MS should have been improving their products all along these years instead chose to ignore the users now this year they’re making all of these improvements to their products where as Linux doesn’t have this kind of problems in fact it has gotten so good I can even play Windows games in Steam that I no longer ever needed Windows to carry on with my life, unlike you still use Windows and chose to try beat down down those who don't use Windows because they love their LG TV. (Surprisingly I actually own a 55” LED LG TV and it has been going strong for almost 14 years, longer than any Sony TV”)
    • As much as I love owning my own hardware, it's hard to argue with the value. I'm not a huge gamer, I'd actually be interested in a cheaper plan with limited monthly hours, or even a pay-by-the-hour plan.
    • Well, they (LibreOffice/The Document Foundation) are bitchy and whiny, yes, but they're right, at least this time. It doesn't make sense to market something as "free and open source to thwart dependency on foreign companies' software" but at the same time, using the formats of said companies (Microsoft) by default. That way, you are changing nothing, essentially, you're just using another UI. We all know that users just use the defaults and almost never change them. I'm not saying they should drop other formats altogether, but they shouldn't default to the thing they're trying to run away from in the first place. If you're gonna do something, just go all the way in, don't stop in the middle, IMO. Otherwise, shut up and move along.
