It's a show about the Iranian hostage crisis with rabbits. RABBITS! You're going to be watching Hamtaro remixed into Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Place your standards higher.

Honestly, you can't be THAT serious about a show like that right? It's not a serious show to begin with.

Do you also say this about Family Guy and the likes? "It's a show about a day to day family living in a street with a talking dog. A TALKING DOG! You're going to be watching your neighbors mixed with American humor. Place your standards higher."

I mean really, it's a parody show. Lighten up ;)

Serious wouldn't be the word. Disinterest would be it. What will that show provide to me in a form of entertainment or whatever it is trying to do that I have not seen, experienced or watched before.

The rabbit show is not a parody show if you check the trailer. It's an ONA by a start up, independent studio trying to establish itself. I mean the series is named Cat **** One. In fact, I just skimmed the first episode just to find if I'm completely wrong and concede that I was writing a hollow, harsh, false perspective. The first episode featured two rabbit snipers trying to line up a shot on a group of "terrorist rabbits". It gets worse from there on and the kicker is that they were voiced by actors with deep voices. Anthropomorphism can only go so far...

 Since when was Family Guy a representation of neighbors on my side of the Atlantic? That's besides the point anyways since I generally greatly dislike TV shows, like Battlestar Galactica and LOST. Majority of fans get really excited over a single series like BSG because it's rare to see something slightly better than the mind numbing, energy draining, vocabulary destroying dystopia that is called American TV. In fact, the same thing can be said about the anime fanbase and anime.

Anyways, it's already established that I don't like anime that much and even point out all the flaws of all the series that I like. I'm already within hitting distance of the ceiling of all the decent anime (imo) that have been released in the past 10 years. The sad part is that most of the anime that I attempt to watch are all derived from the same generic formula of its genre and it's quite rare to see some variations I have yet to come across more than a handful of anime series that really serve the "mature" crowd, like Cowboy Bebop and Ghost in the Shell: SAC, and assume the viewers are intelligent and culturally aware in the past three years.

I find my cynicism hard to dispel and have not come across an interesting anime series that I have not seen as I struggle to sort through my plan to watch list and search for a series that actually immerse me in its world or broaden my horizons rather than the typical disconnected, third person perspective entertainment.

^It actually is meant as a parody. There's no deep storyline in there. No deep personal issues and all that kind of stuff. Why else would they use rabbits for the roles :p

Also, it's disinterest to you, but from the reply you made it didn't look like it.

Plus, you're missing the point about Family Guy. I wasn't talking about where you lived and all that stuff. I meant it as "about family in general with American Humor. What you're saying though about BSG, LOST and TV Shows is besides the point that I was making

I just don't understand why you keep watching new shows if you already know it's based off of something you've already watched. Why keep wasting your time with stuff you don't like?

How come you don't like something that's somewhat based off of something you've already watched? Every type of media is like that. Music, Movies, Series, Drama shows, Game shows, Games, and all the other media I didn't mention.

I got this feeling somewhere in my gut telling me that some of the entries on this list have to be fake.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Onani Master? ROFL

Save for that, the fake Fall 2010 poster looks amazing. New Full Metal Panic!, Phoenix Wright, Yotsuba, Vinland Saga and more? Epic. I wish it was actually true. It would really be one of the best seasons of anime in recent memory.

If only the sequel to Baccano! would be real :p Though that would somewhat defeat the purpose of the story being told to that little girl (forgot her name) in the train :p

Also, if it's not from Chartfag's site, then other charts that look like his, are most probably fake if you ask me.

I watched the first "season" of Gundam 00 over the weekend and while it started off slow, it soon picked up and bloody hell the last few episodes were mental. I think i am going to start "season" 2 today. I wanted to last night but it was nearly 2am .

You should check out the trailer for the Gundam 00 movie once you finish season 2 :)

I strongly recommend learning how to use torrents...

I love YYH because its characters all match up to be a great team and I love the cute, assertive Keiko. She's essentially the person keeping the hot headed delinquent in check.

Last Exile was a great showcase of Steampunk anime. However, its plot isn't as satisfying as I thought it would be. However, I am a harsh critic so you have to add some points to anything I downgrade. If you enjoyed Eureka Seven, you'll love Last Exile. Brother and sister strive to find their place in society as they pilot a steam powered flyer to be one of the best teams in the sky (and then throw in some weird high altitude, elite society who look at anything below them as peasants).

 No surprises there. Japanese animation really loves its lolicon fanbase. >_>

Hmm Last Exile sounds good based on what you're saying because I did enjoy Eureka Seven.

..and I do know how to use torrents I've downloaded hundreds of gb's that way :p

Check out Last Exile. It was boring the first time I watched it then I had a lot of time to kill two years ago so I watched it on a whim and kind of liked it enough to give it a 7. Always add 1-3 points more on whatever I rate (with the exceptions of the 9s I give). I gave FMA: Brotherhood a low 6/10 and the other a high 7/10 with its movie a high 7/10. My opinion conflicts with a lot of members. Code Geass, TTGL and Death Note got some low ratings from me.

You shouldn't have any problem finding the correct japanese audio/english subtitle version of YYH then. It's actually quite hard to find English dub only so I have no clue what you did.

Didn't know that Yuu Aoi did the voice for Sonoshi from REDLINE, she was brilliant in the live-action Honey and Clover as Hagu (Y)

Lovin' the HD trailers that came out last week. I'm so glad to have watched this on the big screen, totally epic animation by Madhouse and I must get my hands on the techno soundtrack! (not in the trailers above)

@RadishTM: Loving both trailers! Can't wait to actually watch REDLINE. Yuu Aoi sure was great as Haru in the live action of "Honey and Clover" :D

Go watch it.

And beware of the shadow in the first ep.. :p

Just watched "Seikimatsu Occult Gakuin" and didn't see the shadow :p I did see smoke above Maya her head when she fell onto the ground, which reminded me of NGE. When an Angel dies in NGE, you'd see a tall cross. The smoke above Maya her head looked somewhat like it :p Not sure if it was intended but I thought it was funny.

OMG live action GANTZ movie

TRAILER

That looks awful.

The manga: The male lead is a complete pervert and keeps thinking of the most lewd things possible and also works out a lot. The female lead is a big busted, naive girl who's on the verge of breaking down.

The movie: Metrosexual, teen bop stars trying to survive?

I lol'd.

It reminds me of the (horrible) live action trailer for Saikano when I was searching for the manga.

haha that does differ from me! Don't like the mainstream shows then I guess?

I'll look for YYH pretty soon because I've watched 37 eps of Hunter x Hunter already and I have been reading a bit about the show and from what I've read it's based around tournaments which I really enjoy :)

    • Apple announces iOS 27 with no changes to the list of supported iPhones by Taras Buria At WWDC 2026 in Cupertino, Apple announced iOS 27, the next mobile operating system for compatible iPhones. The update focuses on tweaking and improving last year's iOS 26, particularly in areas like app launch time, Liquid Glass design, and more. Additionally, Apple has reworked Apple Maps with a significantly enhanced Flyover view for a much more realistic view. Apple also promises better performance, smarter search, new Health features, new parental controls, and more. The most important part is that iOS 27 is compatible with all iPhones that can run iOS 26. That means that even the seven-year-old iPhone 11 can run iOS 27 (supposedly better than iOS 26). iOS 27 will be available this Fall, with the first developer betas expected later today. You can follow the live stream here.

    • Sandboxie Plus 1.17.7 / Classic 5.72.7 by Razvan Serea Run programs in a sandbox to prevent malware from making permanent changes to your PC. Sandboxie allows you to run your browser, or any other program, so that all changes that result from the usage are kept in a sandbox environment, which can then be deleted later. Sandboxie is a sandbox-based isolation software for 32- and 64-bit Windows NT-based operating systems. It is being developed by David Xanatos since it became open source, before that it was developed by Sophos (which acquired it from Invincea, which acquired it earlier from the original author Ronen Tzur). It creates a sandbox-like isolated operating environment in which applications can be run or installed without permanently modifying the local or mapped drive. An isolated virtual environment allows controlled testing of untrusted programs and web surfing. Sandboxie is available in two flavors Plus and Classic. Both have the same core components, this means they have the same level of security and compatibility. What's different is the user interface the Plus build has a modern Qt based UI which supports all new features that have been added since the project went open source. The Classic build has the old no longer developed MFC based UI, hence it lacks support for modern features, these features can however still be used when manually configured in the Sandboxie.ini. Sandboxie Plus 1.17.7 / Classic 5.72.7 release notes: Added added a Global Settings checkbox for ForceBoxDocs under Program Control > Force Process Options Changed disabled rich text acceptance in 'Edit ini Section' baa6968 extended completion system with context-aware filtering, improved INI key resolution, regex updates, and tooltip placement enhancements 6db2a04 Fixed fixed crash in VMware when running inside sandbox caused by NtQueryDirectoryObject hook returning non-null-terminated strings and uninitialized padding bytes in OBJECT_DIRECTORY_INFORMATION structures, which caused QueryDosDeviceW to crash in wcscmp #5390 Add short-name fallback cache and heuristics #5404 fixed addon setup not working introduced in a recent build fixed Starting from version 1.17.4, using the 'Sandbox with Data Protection' type box causes PowerShell to wait indefinitely, while there is no such bug with other types. #5408 fixed Importing encrypted box no longer creates encrypted image in v1.17.6 #5399 fixed EditorSettings fuzzy matching not applied, showing few/no completion entries, and table cell highlighting not updating fixed Error enumerating and deleting folder. #5406 fixed black box import/export when 'ProtectAdminOnly=y' (default) and SandMan does not run as admin Download: Sandboxie Plus (64-bit) | 23.3 MB (Open Source) Download: Sandboxie Classic (64-bit) | 3.0 MB Links: Sandboxie Website | GitHub | ARM64 | Screenshot Get alerted to all of our Software updates on Twitter at @NeowinSoftware
    • Ocenaudio 3.19.2 by Razvan Serea Ocenaudio is a full featured, fast and easy to use audio and music editor. It is the ideal software for people who need to edit and analyze audio files without complications. Ocenaudio also has powerful features that will please more advanced users. To assist ocenaudio development, a powerful toolset of audio editing, analysis and manipulation called Ocen Framework was created. ocenaudio is also based on Qt framework, a well known library for cross-platform development. Cross-platform support ocenaudio is available for all major operating systems: Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. Native applications are generated for each platform from a common source, in order to achieve excelent performance and seamless integration with the operating system. All versions of ocenaudio have a uniform set of features and the same graphical interface, so the skills you learn in one platform can be used in the others. VST plugins support Ocenaudio supports VST (Virtual Studio Technology) plugins, giving its users access to numerous effects. Like the native effects, VST effects can use real-time preview to aide configuration. Real-time preview of effects Applying effects such as EQ, gain and filtering is an important part of audio editing. However, it is very tricky to get the desired result by adjusting the controls configuration alone: you must listen the processed audio. To ease the configuration of audio effects, ocenaudio has a real time preview feature: you hear the processed signal while adjusting the controls. The effect configuration window also includes a miniature view of the selected audio signal. You can navigate on this miniature view in the same way as you do on the main interface, selecting parts that interest you and listening to the effect result in real time. Multiselection for delicate editions To speed up complex audio files editing, ocenaudio includes multi-selection. With this amazing tool, you can simultaneously select different portions of an audio file and listen, edit or even apply an effect to them. For example, if you want to normalize only the excerpts of an interview where the interviewee is talking, just select them and apply the effect. Eficient edition of large files With ocenaudio, there is no limit to the length or the quantity of the audio files you can edit. Using an advanced memory management system, the application keeps your files open without wasting any of your computer's memory. Even in files several hours long, common editing operations such as copy, cut or paste happen almost instantly. Fully featured spectrogram Besides offering an incredible waveform view of your audio files, ocenaudio has a powerful and complete spectrogram view. In this view, you can analyze the spectral content of your audio signal with maximum clarity. Advanced users will be surprised to find that the spectrogram settings are applied in real time. The display is updated immediately when altering features such as the number of frequency bands, window type and size and dynamic range of the display. Ocenaudio 3.19.2 changelog: Fixes a crash when starting the graphical interface without a display on Linux Fixes MP3 metadata encoding and ID3 tag writing issues on Windows Fixes a crash when loading audio with autosave enabled on Windows user paths containing non-ASCII characters Fixes a freeze when batch-processing more than 5 files with a 64-bit VST plugin Fixes some conditions in audio mixer Fixes loudness statistics for surround files and Short-Term Maximum Loudness accuracy Other bug fixes and improvements Download: Ocenaudio 64-bit | Portable | ~40.0 MB (Freeware) Download: Ocenaudio for Linux and Mac OS View: Ocenaudio Homepage | Screenshot Get alerted to all of our Software updates on Twitter at @NeowinSoftware
