That's the whole point of fillers though isn't it?

I'd rather have a few fillers now and then instead of a massive run of fillers like they did between Naruto and Naruto Shippuuden. It was almost a year wasn't it?

WTH are you talking about there weren't any fillers between Naruto and Naruto Shippuden.

I think he is getting all the filler in between to the end confused. But ya, there was some movies that could be seen as filler.

There was a huuuge break, which wasn't as cool as filler. But, if the filler is just crap, I'd prefer nothing honestly. Let me think they are at least putting their talent to good planning, instead of seeing what we have been. Filler that tells the past, but is meaningful, is good. Filler set in the past, dealing with shenanigans is wasting my time lol.

I just think they need to plan out their filler plots to something more than just filler, and give the fans something worth watching, even though it is not dealing with the main story.

And that's the other thing.... Movies. Since the movie isn't dealing with the main story, I always view it as filler. While they can be awesome, there is never a feeling that something huge is going to happen that would break the main story, aka main hero dieing or getting deformed in some permanent way. You always know no matter what, it will end in a way that will basically have everything back to normal. I think the movies are best done as a ending to the series, a way that they can draw a conclusion and still have that shroud of mystery to the plot to keep you enthralled.

No the point of fillers is not to waste all that network time they buy every year.

After the whole Naruto Vs Sasuke arc they had loads of fillers 136-219, 220 being when Naruto and Jiraiya left to train for 3 years. I don't remember those being in the manga.

I was always under the impression they do fillers to let the manga get ahead.

I've watched half of season 2, starts off quite slow, getting a lot better. Definitely worth a watch if you ask me. Although this style of anime is up my alley.

Yeah, besides the some what slow start this show is quite awesome. Watching the first season "Aegis of URUK" and love it. At least it isn't trying to be taken seriously, just something to watch and enjoy. :)

Tokyo MX is banning late night ecchi & panchira anime; also they're not going to employ anime fans.

On Monday, the February 12th issue of Kodansha's Weekly Gendai magazine published an article that discussed the disruption that the recently passed amendment to Tokyo's Youth Healthy Development Ordinance may cause to the Tokyo MX TV station's future plans. According to the magazine's unnamed source in the station's management, "There is a possibility that we will self-regulate the broadcast of explicit anime" because of the station's deep ties with the government. The source specifically cited the number of late-night anime that have panty shots and other kinds of risque depictions on Tokyo MX.

Weekly Gendai's source at Tokyo MX added, "We are popular among students as a station known for its strong presence of anime," but the station may have to reconsider hiring anime fans among new graduates. For example, the job application sheet may have the question, "If you were to take a foreign friend sightseeing in Japan, where would you take him or her? If the student were to write "Akihabara," the station might ask him or her to leave the application process.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government passed an amendment to the city's Youth Healthy Development Ordinance last month. The amendment would expand the number of manga and anime that fall under "harmful publications," the legal category of works that must not be sold or rented to people under the age of 18.

Has everybody been watching One Piece? What a great last 3 episodes I thought! :)

I can't believe pops died!

Haven't seen Bleach yet, but I've been waiting all day, about to watch it in a couple hours.

I also started watching Fairy Tail, which is pretty decent so far, there's just something I like about the setting of shows like that lol

You don't read manga matrix, but yeah it was as great as in the manga. OP and Bleach anime are creeping towards and getting closer to manga every time, I'm afraid there's filler coming at mass. But the bleach episode was great, it was really cool to see gins eyes (somehow I know he was a blue eye b******) but it contradicts with their previous version of his eye (which were red I think).

Seeing Gins eyes was a treat. The manga just didn't do this death enough justice, but the anime was excellent.

Bleach manga just got a little interesting.. maybe... have to wait for next episode to see what we get out of it really.

Naruto manga is just sick. This ninja battle is just insane. Loving each chapter more and more.

Actually there quite a bit more to catch up in One Piece.

There's the arc about Luffy's and Ace's past which I feel will stretch on for a while

I'm eagerly looking forward to when to the time jump in one piece :pinch:

Oh and if AnimeCalendar is accurate then next week we're in for a double episode of Naruto Shippuuden and it's gonna be back on the main arc (at long last) :woot:

Hence no naruto this week, there's double on Feb 10. I'm not keeping my hopes up just in case there's a disappointment (I wouldn't hurt if I'm wrong).

Yeah, the new manga arc leaves a lot to be desired so far. But I suppose we'll see where he goes with it.

I hope it does get better, at the moment i am waiting for it to pick up. I think it is wasting too much time at the moment. Still be exciting to see

what Ichigo's fullbring is.

Oh well going by how the manga went, i think only one more episode before the "epicness" begins.

    • Thanks for liking it! 😊 That's Arch Linux with Gnome.
    • LOL. Can't even quote and edit a comment correctly. Figures you're a Linux user.
    • It won't perform hugely better than the 3080 unless you're VRAM limited in games. Have you tried putting new thermal pads on them 3080 and giving it a good clean to see if you can regain your temps and overclock?
