[Official] Anime/Manga Thread

Recommended Posts

I watch around 10-15 episodes per day, sometime 20. During one piece time, i bunked my classes to watch episodes, and now i hate waiting for episodes after that.

I just started watching naruto last week, currently on episode 108, where sasuke and naruto fight for first time. Waiting for one piece episode for 1 week is annoying. And One piece manga doesn't interests me at all, i like action in motion, reading manga only tells you about story. Friends recommended me to watch Cowboy bebop too, so kinda excited about it.

I remember the good'ol days :) took me something like 4 days to watch over 170+ episodes.

Oh ya, the days of catching up are always great. Then you get so used to having it around, that when you have to wait, it is just so frustrating.

If you can get into the manga, they can help fill in that emptiness during the slow weeks :p Especially while the anime are doing fillers. Reading the manga help complete the story a little, as you will get both views, and it makes it a little easier to piece things together that might not be fully explained in each.

The story revolves around Tamaki Kakegawa, a fifth grade girl whose father is a penguin researcher. As such, Tamaki is constantly surrounded by penguins and has grown to hate them. In order to cure Tamaki's hatred of penguins, a 'penguinoid' named Minori is built to befriend her.

The trailer for this 30 minute OVA looked pretty funny and the plot of it sounds funny too XD And the music in the trailer made it look/sound epic for some reason, LOL.

It's part of 3 OVA's being released by Aniplex's Ufotable studio. The one Neo003 posted with the shark is also part of the 3 OVA's.

    • Nvidia is your issue more so than linux itself. I did used it for a while with an old 1060 3gb, but using propietary drivers was kind of messy.

    • The current Statcoungter desktop numbers has Google Chrome increasing it's market share this past year and currently commanding 75% share. Everybody else is just making up the numbers with even MS Edge losing 3% this past year and has dipped just below 10% share which is staggering considering it's default on every Windows deviced purchased. If these numbers are correct that terrible Edge number is both devastating and embarrassing for MS especially when you add in the terribly low Bing market share. This leads me to ask a couple of questions as the default browser holding just less than 10% market share seems really weird. It used to be that all Chromium browsers were being counted as Google Chrome in some cases.  Is this still happening? Do these high Google Chrome numbers contains some Edge user numbers?
