Windows Update Issue [Office 2007 SP1]

I'm running Vista SP1 on an HP Pavilion dv6000t.

Every time I d/l and install SP1 for Office 2007 it d/ls properly but fails on install.

Code: 80244019

What steps can I take?

Error 0?80244019 translates to SUS_E_PT_HTTP_STATUS_NOT_FOUND - Http status 404 - object not found. Generally, it could be caused by the proxy issue, or the firewalls, or some security tools.

Make sure firewall is off, internet is on, proxy's are off, and antivirus is off (for a limited amount of time, around 5 minutes should do.) The Office SP1 update MAY require online access, just like Windows Live Installer://

Also, try running in compatibilty mode for windows XP and make sure its running in Elevated mode;)) (Administrator)

Well, I'm on the University's network so I can't do much about firewall and proxies. I guess I could disable Symantec for a while although I doubt this would do anything.

Can I remove the downloaded file so it can re-download them somehow?
