BBC iPlayer on PS3 now official

Oh I realise it's not within the scope of just another game, but some form of partnership would be needed.

Sure it would take a little work on both companies - but it would pay off.

I'm just saying, technologically - it is possible. Browser or no browser.

Works perfect :D

Although I would prefer an option from the XMB for it, but I guess that's wishing a bit too much lol

Nice to see our licence fees being put to some good uses.

BTW DM, TOPGEAR!!!

was having this same discussion at work today, the general conclusion was that most people would play about double the license fee a year...

TV, Radio, Online.... The fact that I can listen to the specialist radio shows whilst at work and not have to stay up til 3, 4, 5am is a MASSIVE plus for me :D

oh and top gear, I'm also starting to get quite 'into' the documentary style things on a sunday afternoon :p

to compete i'm sure (reaD: hopeful) that 4oD and possibly skyplayer will follow suit

go BBC :)

WTF channel 4 fails now that there is next to no porn on it.

Yeah cause I'm tuning in every night for the nightly showings of porn on the BBC..

Oh wait

Valid arguement....mmmno.

Did Channel 4 even have porn at all? I thought it was Channel 5 that did?

some of the best:

top gear

lead balloon

outnumbered

mutual friends

Life on mars

Heroes

Have I got news for you

That's seriously "some of the best"? God, I'd hate to see some of the worst

I've not even heard of lead balloon, outnumbered or mutual friends :/

Heroes is american and sucks big time since Season 2. Life on Mars? Seriously? :/

personally, i would like to see an increase in license fee and higher quality shows

but it isn't going to happen and the service at the moment is pretty damn good for what we pay

What are you smoking, higher licence fee wouldnt mean higher quality shows, BBC shows are getting shorter and shorter i wouldnt wanna pay more money i begrudge paying what i do now and i hardly watch BBC shows apart from Top Gear and Nevermind the Buzzcocks.

don't watch it much (except for top gear etc, spooks is pretty good too) but I listen to radio 1 & 2 allllllll day, listening right now (RATM baby! :D)

radio for sports on the weekend when driving also, and i use the website at least 10+ times a day

higher fee would result in better shows if that was where the money had to go, i.e. via decree from the BBC trust

    • That's not clickbait. Clickbait is headlines like, "You'll never guess what this person looks like now" for example. For goodness sake, take a look around the internet if you think this is clickbait. How do sites survive if people don't click through to articles? How many people in all honesty would have clicked this if it had your suggested headline? You and those upvoting your post won't be happy until the web is a couple of hundred websites all behind a paywall.

    • Or use Epic games and get full games for free. lol Steam and their demos. Thankfully there’s competition
    • Maybe I missed it, but does this say anywhere that the game save bug has been squashed? I haven't encountered it myself, but it would be nice to know I'm good to go. Anyway, amazingly well done game. Mostly more of the same. ...but when the same is best in class with improved graphics and features, then a win.
    • Well when your game flops, you should expect this. If I do bad at work, I would expect a layoff. Less than 1600 people played it on steam. https://steamdb.info/app/1934570/charts/
