Kaspersky knows something we don't.

Now we play the waiting game.

Hi, I'm new to the boards, but I am so glad I found someone else who is having the same problem I am with Kaspersky and Google. I've checked all of my settings as well as my other computers that are protected with Kaspersky and have the same problem. The computers where I don't have Kaspersky installed work the same as always, they are so called "protected" by McAfee. Well we will see in the morning. Yes, the waiting game is on.

It still gives me same thing since I posted. There definitely is something wrong. teh funny thing is that this thread have been visited +590 times, but only 3 or 4 inputs. Is it some sort of conspiracy you guys are cooking with google :p ?

It certainly is scary, if there's a malicious software being downloaded while visiting google.com and only KIS is detecting it, +half the world computers will be owned. Or just mine lol

@Sootired: may I ask where are you from?

Nope, no malicious software here. The problem was Kaspersky's update. They sent me the new rerouting code.

Launch Kaspersky

Go to setting on the top RIGHT hand corner

Click on Update

then click on the Settings button under Automatically

Now click Add

Type in the source field: http://195.222.17.41

Click OK

Now uncheck the FIRST for Kaspersky?s lab?s update servers

leave the second one checked

Now click Ok

then Apply and OK

then open a browser and try it. I'm back on Google!!!!

Good luck
