In the gaming world exclusivities have become all but obsolete. So it should come as little surprise that analysts are stating the future of Epic?s gaming giant, Gears of War, will be bright on all fronts of the console war.Analyst Michael Pachter, who is well known throughout the gaming industry for his insight to the future of gaming, has stated ?we pretty much know that Gears of War 3 is probably gonna come out on PS3.? ? Pachter is going off the idea that things today aren?t exactly exclusive, they?re only set aside for a set amount of time. If this holds true, PS3 gamers will get a chance to see just how much they?ve been missing.

As gamers of all three major systems here at GamesAreEvil, we welcome multiplatform any day. The console war is getting down to the point of ?who?s system has the better technology?, and steering clear of ?who has the better games?.

Either way this one ends up, Gears of War has cemented it?s place in the hearts of gamers everywhere. Regardless of which system this ends up on in the future, it?s sure to have one hell of an outcome and a very profitable future.

as far as i know Microsoft pays to have it made so i do not believe they are going to be releasing it on the PS3 however i can say that you can install windows vista on a PS3 and then play the first game on it lol :p

what ever happened to Wii HD coming in 2009?

what ever happened to the Wii sales going down after the first or second year?

what ever happened to PS3 having a higher install base than the 360 by the second year?

what ever happened to GTAIV being the reason PS3 spikes in 2008?

If we have learned anything from the 90 MGS4 to 360 topics we've had, it's don't believe it until it happens.

Or else you're wasting your time talking/speculating about it.

GoW is developed by a 3rd party, published by MS, so unless MS stop publishing it, it can't go 3rd party. Right now it's 2nd party.

If there ever was ANY doubt that pachter didn't have a clue... that time is now past.

And whoever gave pachter the idea that he had an "insight" into the gamign industry. practically every prediction he's done has missed the mark completely, and then he comes up with some stupdi excuse for why...

I think his prediction relies upon that UT3 has become popular on PS3, Epic prefers PS3's open-ended approach to User Created Content and PS3's install base will be big enough to warrant a PS3 port.

Just my two cents.

"What? Im sorry I cant hear you over the stupidly high amount of money Microsoft is throwing into this project!!!" - Response from EPIC Games.

    • I know I won't ever be using it to make my game. I'd rather pay humans.
    • Nah. For every indie dev that needs to create code for "stuff" or textures, it's a godsend enabler to possibly tackle a project that you may not otherwise. The end result and testing will tell the truth if everything works or doesn't, or a game is just mediocre slop, but now these tools are now there and it's the developer's duty to judge the outcome, and even more so for pro studios. And you gotta remember that they will be at an early stage.
    • whoosh my comment went over your head. Enjoy your notchless 3:2 OLED device
    • As a game dev, today was really depressing. They announced that Blueprints will be deprecated in UE6 to be fully replaced by their sh**ty Python-like Verse language... They also announced that 5.8 will be the last version of UE5 until UE6 comes out in MID 2029!!!! They have completely lost the plot.
