Girls drive me insane lol

I think my boyfriend does this to me, though he doesn't need to.

For example, we agree to leave in 30 minutes. I get ready, he sits at his computer/otherwise bums around. If I take a minute or two too long he starts getting impatient.

Then I'm ready, and tell him so.

His response is to run to the bathroom to shave and fix his hair and do his contact lenses etc etc ..while I have to sit and wait for him.

!!!

Amen.

When I know we're leaving at a certain time, I make sure I have enough time to get ready. I take as much time to get ready as any normal woman who wants to go out looking at least decent, but I don't wait until the last minute to do it. He, on the other hand, procrastinates. When he does start to get ready (usually 3-5 minutes before we should be taking off), he takes his time doing it, even if we're in a rush. On the rare occasion I am running 5 or less minutes behind (never more than that), I never hear the end of it. He stands there watching me in the mirror while I apply my mascara, tapping his foot and looking at his watch. On the other hand, when it's him running us behind (like usual), he can't understand my impatience.

I think a lot of men's problem with running behind is assuming their lady is going to be running even further behind.

I'm sure the rest of you guys do it too; it's just easier to forget than when she does it ;)

Silly boys.

I guess I lucked out. My wife does not wear make up and when we say we are leaving at a specific time then we will leave at that time.

I agree that in the case of someone who is temporally challenged that you should tell them time way before you actually need to leave if you want to be on time.

Shut up. She obviously just wants to look good for all the ____ing she plans to do this weekend, so be thankful.

dude you shut up. that was rude. he wasn't saying that in real critisism, he said "lol" at the end of the sentence for crying out loud.

Enjoy it while you get it, Its not fun when you get older, Your answer should be "Thats okay baby, Take your time, Ill be waiting for you" GO enjoy young love because its not the same when you get 25+

don?t establish any wrong concept solely based on this stupid reason.

My wife and I have gotten used to the "getting ready" routine, although at this point she knows whats she going to do in advance and I procrastinate what suit I am going to wear to the last minute and then ask her to shave my head, so I end up taking 30 minutes and she takes 10-15.

Hah, I think my mrs would agree with you on that

Why get dressed up for a good rodgering?

lol

    • Linux 7.2's first release candidate gets off to a good start by Paul Hill Credit: Larry Ewing It has been a few weeks since the release of Linux 7.1, and in that time, the Linux 7.2 merge window has been open, where developers can submit their features and patches ready for the upcoming release. That window is now shut, and the release candidate phase has begun so that new features can be tested and further fixes applied. According to the founder of Linux, Linus Torvalds, this week’s release candidate looks “reasonably normal”. Although we are super early in the release candidates, this is a good sign as it makes it more likely that an eighth release candidate will not be needed. Torvalds even mentioned that the update’s stats are only larger than they really are because there was another AMD header drop with a third of the patch just being AMD GPU register definitions, which aren’t big changes but make the code contributed look larger overall. In addition to this, he noted that just over half the patch is drivers, even when excluding the AMD register dump. The rest of the changes are spread out over architecture updates, tooling, documentation, and core kernel updates. In the next week, Torvalds says that he will be chilling out, taking the week “mostly off”. Despite this, he will be reading emails and keeping up with things, so if he is slow responding, now you know why. He said he is hoping for a calm week, but we will just have to see if the second release candidate is actually like that. We should expect seven or eight release candidates before Linux 7.2 is released, so expect it around the end of August. If you missed it a few weeks ago, be sure to check out our coverage of Linux 7.1's release.
