I didn't think it was THAT bad of a movie.... I mean..... they had to throw a twist in the plot.... would anyone want to see it if it was JUST about a drunk superhero trying to straighten up? u can only drag THAT storyline into so many minutes of screen time.

I wasn't a big fan of the first one either. The movie had more holes than Swiss cheese and every performance but Will Smith's and Jason Bateman's sucked (including Charlize Theron's). :sleep2:

The twist was alright, but the way they went about it was just stupid.

And, yes, I would have watched it without the twist as well.

It didn't mix action and comedy well at all, especially since it attempted to focus on action. It failed miserably at both. The directing was weak, the CGI was just "eh" and the acting was borderline comedy even though it wasn't a comedy. (N)

I thought part of the problem was that a CGI heavy movie based on a flying bulletproof superhero with superhuman strength seems kinda corny...

I liked the original. The only thing I wanted them to do was expand on the story more; they had a huge twist and never elaborated on it. I'm hoping the sequel can tie it all together and give us more of an explanation of their origins and whatnot.

Am I the only one liked the second half better than 1st half? I don't care about about him drink and do bad things, I like to see him as a Hero!

And the storyline about him and charlize theron's character Mary are very interesting.

I would LOVE to see a prequel of them in 4 BC, like she told him about... Fasinating!
