I'm wanting to make a simple dummy login page and simply want to set it up so that regardless of what details a user puts in, a dialog box appears saying that the username/password entered is incorrect and that they should contact the administrator for the correct details.
can you please tell me the code so that I can use it.
Much appreciated.
also I'd like to change the font that would appear on the login button.
I never really found it useful either, especially since it actively required an additional app to be installed and sync'd. Phone Link is more trouble than it's worth IMHO.
You can remove Phone Link if it's a problem and Store won't reinstall it. The monthly CU, on the other hand, might. I haven't actually checked with Phone Link specifically.
I never had this problem, but I only used Phone Link for a few months and turn turned it off because it offered almost no benefit, and was driving me crazy with duplicate notifications for everything.
I agree with you on Reddit and forum posts not being a strong source, but I'm not sure why you would question if it is a memory leak, it pretty clearly is.
All memory leaks are the result of some other bug. That fact that you mention possible bugs doesn't change the fact that if you are right, that would still be considered a memory leak.
Say a race condition exists where a function ends prior to object cleanup, that is both a race condition and a memory leak, in fact, that is the most classic type of memory leak.
