I have fixed so many issues with people's computers by using this software. I love the program. About the defrag though: It seems ok, but everything just feels a bit quicker after O&O to me *shrug*

Been using Smart Defrag for a couple months and seems to work well. It also has a auto-defrag option which is a nice for diskeeper users that want to try something new. Came across these charts as well at iobit.com

Tried Defraggler last night and it was still running this morning. In about 12 hours it only got 20% done. I used to use Diskeeper, but haven't tried any other, so my vote goes to that.

By far the best defragger is UltimateDefrag Free. It does everything those commercial programs do except it's free. You can consolidate disk space, move data according to high performance or archive. You can customize which folders you want to be high performance and which to be archived and they'll be defragged in the order you told them to be.

All in all, no program could beat UltimateDefrag because it's free and does things even commercial programs don't do.

i was wondering, does a different defragmenter mean better defragmentation? If you use PerfectDisk rather than Windows Defrag, will your hard-drives be optimized even more? Or the main difference is the automatic scheduling of defragmentation?
