Media Apps

Pretty self-explanitory: we'd like your opinion on a media app to use in Shift Linux. Please vote quickly as I'll be Shifting tonight, but voting will be open later too. I'll put the apps with most votes as of tonight (in 12 hours or so) into the preview, and obviously the winners into later versions.

Also, if "other", please list apps for Gnome (GTK?). Thanks!

Isn't VLC qt nowadays?

I'd like to see mplayer but since VLC is close enough I voted for it.

I'd rather have Amarok, which is way better that any of the others... but then we'd have to pull kdelibs3 as a dependency... or use amarok 2, kdelibs (KDE4) and Qt4 and use both toolkits, which seems to me the best idea.

Also, VLC seems like a good idea.

OK, Songbird and VLC are both in the preview.

Songbird. It still has a long way to go, but once they get the memory footprint down it will be close to perfect.
