The "music player thing" is most likely CD Art Display, though I'm not familiar with the skin he's using.

^That's Network Magic Pro from Cisco. It works great with my Linksys router and Linksys wireless card. It manages my wireless connection and I can also use it to see/manage my home network.

@ishiok: I'm gonna tweak it later today and I hope that em3 is gonna be online later today so that I can ask permission :)
