For those looking for an reliable audio converter, easy to use and fast, I found this freeware.

Xrecode looks very good. Thanks, I'd never heard of it before.

I wish it could keep embedded album art when converting, though. For that reason, I'm unable to replace the dBpoweramp music converter.

You're right but I think it's a developper's choice (i.e to focus only on audio conversion). Regarding the tag editor, I use another freeware (Mp3Tag), that is excellent.

Xrecode + Mp3Tag, imho it's the perfect combination :)

I convert all my audio formats with FlexiMusic Audio Converter, yes it is quite simple acutally.
