Sweet... new WB fixed that nasty taskbar bug! GREAT theme... you actually got me to switch from Smooth Stripes.

is 4.00a an actual fully functioning update? I only as as its 3mb smaller than the 4.00 version, and all it seems to fix is the taskbar error and uis2 problems Maybe there was a lot of extra code in there? Im just a bit curious how a fix can reduce the code by 3mb

Thanks

WB also includes skins in it's distribution - they were not changed in the update, so they weren't included. If you were using SDC it would automatically have detected that and not downloaded them.

It also includes toolwindow skinning for UIS2 (and UIS1) - try the updated version of Blackcomb; PSP and photoshop toolwindows should now be skinned (alas, not the rollup button in PS, I think that's custom).

it also introduces the msstyles like buttons for easier skins editing. I have already added it to SkinStudio, it will be exhibited in the next build.

Where can i find the update. I've the registered version

If you have Object Desktop, just fire it up and choose to display 'release and beta components' it will be listed as version 4.00a ... If you have the standalone version ... ummm ... I dont know ...

Xero, thanks for the new update, but the issue I report earlier seems still happen in this update.

I check it again and seems the issue I report only happen on 'Windows Explorer' and 'IE', as it has 'mouseover' event when you move the mouse focus to 'file menu' or 'buttons'.

Other issues includes 1) the "console window" that something 3-4 pixel show under the 'titlebar' and 2) "cursor flashing" when you rollup a notepad window.

Hrmm, what do you mean about IE, the menu events?

Also the console window I will take a look at I had forgotten about that. And im not sure about the cursor flashing, I don't normally use the rollup window. It might be because your not using CursorXP? I don't know so let me know. Also for those who don't use CursorXP and those that do, the windowsmax set is coming soon and it looks very good you might wanna try it out.

Regarding IE/windows explorer issue, you can try to check my earlier post that include a screenshot, below is the way to reproduce it:

apply windowsmax skin, open windows explorer, IE, rollup. Try to move the 'cursor' to the bottom line and move from left to right, you will notice that 'some areas' of bottom lines is redraw (or you can even choose 'file menu' from those areas.

regarding cursor blinking, below is the way to reproduce:

1. change wallpaper to 'none'

2. open notepad window

3. rollup

4. you may notice the 'area' of the 'original cursor' position before rollup, the cursor is flashing...

hmm in Windows 2003 you cant have a user pic so in the start menu its messes up theres a blank pic placeholder thing with my user name text over it. Could you post a version that doesnt have the user pic in start menu so i can use this theme i think its really great apart form that.

If the skin is designed with that in mind you can just uncheck the box in User Overrides that says Show user icon in startpanel. That's what the specific section for a user icon background is for, so that WB can remove it if it's not meant to be there.

The final version of this WindowsBlinds skin is so much better!

I was using the Beta version, and it caused alot of problems but I thought it was WindowsBlinds' fault (application incompatibility).. But I'm using the final version now, and it rules!

Thanks for this great skin! ^_^

    • RevPDF 4.5.0 by Razvan Serea RevPDF is a free, fully offline PDF editor for Windows, macOS, and Linux that lets you edit text and images directly inside PDF files — no internet connection, no account, and no cloud uploads required. Unlike bloated alternatives that demand subscriptions and constant connectivity, RevPDF fits in under 60MB on desktop while delivering a complete editing toolkit: annotate, redact, sign, compress, split, merge, convert, and reorganize pages, all processed locally on your device. Smart font matching ensures edited text blends seamlessly with the original, and multi-language support includes RTL scripts such as Arabic and Hebrew. Where most PDF editors force you to choose between features and simplicity, RevPDF manages both. You can build interactive forms from scratch with text fields, checkboxes, and dropdowns, permanently redact sensitive data before sharing, draw freehand on contracts and diagrams, and add custom watermarks — all without a single file leaving your machine. Edit Text and Images Directly Inside PDFs RevPDF supports true inline PDF editing — not just annotation layers on top of a document, but actual modification of existing text and images within the file. A smart font-matching engine identifies the font used in the original document and applies it automatically when you make edits, so changes blend naturally with the surrounding content. You can reposition elements, resize images, and update text across single pages or entire documents. RevPDF 4.5.0 release notes: This is one of the biggest updates to RevPDF yet. A lot of things people have been asking for are finally here. New Features Auto Redaction Permanently redact sensitive text and areas from your PDFs before sharing. Clean, irreversible, and fully offline. Comments, Links & Bookmarks Add comments for review, insert clickable links, and create bookmarks to jump around long documents without scrolling forever. Find & Replace Search across the whole document and replace text in one go. Long overdue. Split Pages Vertically or Horizontally Split any page down the middle, vertically or horizontally. Perfect for scanned books or double-page spreads. New Drawing Tools More tools for freehand drawing and markup, better for annotations, sketches, and detailed notes. Continuous Scrolling in Editor The editor now scrolls continuously through pages instead of jumping between them. Working through long documents is a lot smoother now. PDF Metadata Editor View and edit the metadata stored inside your PDFs, including title, author, subject, and keywords. Better Font Matching Text edits now blend in more naturally by doing a better job of matching the original font. Tabbed PDF Viewer Open multiple PDFs at once in tabs and switch between them without going back to the home screen. Add Links Insert hyperlinks anywhere in your PDF, to external URLs or to other pages within the document. Share & Print Shortcuts Share or print directly from the editing screen, home screen, and viewer. No extra steps. Minor Updates Paste images directly from clipboard into your PDF New image editing tools for more control over images inside documents Bug Fixes Fixed file saving issues on Windows and Linux Everything still works fully offline. No login, no cloud, no account. Your files stay on your device. • Interesting. I'm not using a VPN with my phone. I tried though my home internet (Rogers) and my cellular internet (Telus) using their respective DNS servers and both trigger the dialog above.
