Beige looks nicer IMHO, especially with the ergo theme (here's a screenshot). BTW, is there a way to prevent the taskbar button text and icon from shifting down one pixel when that particular button is active or pressed?

Its kinnda hard to please all so the effect will remain as gree but you are welcome to mod it for your personal use

That's quite all right :) Why don't you try to give the active button a more 3d, raised look, like in the original c10k version? Just try making them darker so they stand out. That might look really nice if done right.

Nice, modify the titlebar buttons to match c10k and we have a real winner. Oh and of course get permission if you decide to post it.

That's pretty nice, but just if it weren't so bold around the edges. It kinda makes it look too K10k. Plus, you might wanna redesign the buttons to fit more with the flatter, more subtle idea of C10k.

I'm using D-Color XP to customize the appearance of my desktop icons, and I absolutly need to keep that program running in order to keep the customization (start with windows). Is there a way (maybe a switch) to hide it so it doesn't sit in the systray ?

Not sure sure if it was the best idea to base this off of the K10k skin. Maybe you could take and modify elements from it, but I'd say the best thing to do is redesign the base graphic.

About D-Color XP, you could just use the Customize Notifications... command to Always Hide the D-Color XP icon.

Looks great but I think it's best if we just modify the Classix winamp skin to match c10k. Use Classix amp as the base and apply your mods to that. It appears my winamp skinner is MIA unfortunately. :(
