Allow ICMP through ISA server

I want to allow ICMP through ISA Server, currently I can't ping external IPs and websites, how can I let ICMP pass while keeping packet IP Packet Filters on?

Allow all internal to external connections.....unless you want to lock down all internal to external connections then create a new rule for it.

I don't get what you mean..

Why should I allow all outgoing connection? Can't I specify only the ICMP?

You would have to create a firewall Access Rule.

- Goto Firewall Policy -> Click Create Access Rule.

- Give a access rule a name (example: Ping Access) -> Next

- Select Allow -> Next

- Select Selected protocols in This rule applies to drop-down menu -> Click Add -> select PING under All Protocols -> click Add -> Next

- Click Add -> select Internal under Networks -> click Add -> Next

- Click Add -> select External under Networks -> click Add -> Next [Note: You can add Perimeter if you want DMZ/Perimeter network to be pinged also]

- Click Next [Accept the defaults here] -> Click Finish -> Click Apply [Note: Before applying make sure that the new rule is in right order. I usually keep diagnostic protocols after all server publish/access and explicit deny rules]
