[SPOILER] FEAR 2 Ending....CONFUSED

Recommended Posts

Hey,

So I just beat the game like 5 mins ago and I am totally confused...I hope some of you other FEAR 2 fans can help out.

As you are fighting Keegan during the end and you get those flashes of Alma moaning is she RAPING YOU? By the end she?s pregnant and makes you feel her stomach...? But isn?t she dead...? Essentially you play to reach the end of the game just to get raped ha-ha. Keegan wants to do her, but she wants to rape you...you guys were just fighting on who gets raped. Ah I hope someone has a clear logical answer or the media will flip.

I'm still totally confused! While you're fighting Keegan in her imaginary world she?s raping you in the physical world. That is one messed up family tree haha. FEAR 3 better bring back the orignal Pointman RIP Beckett.

The story is so f**ked up that you need to clear your mind to get it all together. I would say that this trilogy I am looking forward for more that Halo's.

And yes the point man has to be in FEAR3; somehow I think Becket and point man will meet one another. Also to think that point man and paxten are son of alma with fathers being all the scientist involved in the test and even her own fathers? DNA (try explaining that to the shrink), And having 3rd child in her 40's raping a man similar to her first son.

Ok that?s it I?m going to lie down now, my head hurts.

Ok so I just finished the game. I had the sound turned down but I did hear the moaning. I guess I didn't pick up on that she was raping you. Then all of a sudden she was pregnant? I'm so disappointed with this game, definitely the biggest game ending WTF ever.

Wait, so in FEAR 2, the end is Alma raping Beckett? A ghost kid (or the adult version?) rapes a living person? Talk about a wierd storyline...

Yep she rapes him good. My theory and this is just my theory: I believe that the point man from the first FEAR (Prototype 1) was in trouble after he blew up the facility and the helicopter crashed he would be vulnerable to Alma who loves him too much which would most likely kill him. Aristide needed to create a diversion...that?s when our boy Beckett comes into play they were told to pick up Aristide at her place when the explosion happened and Beckett fell unconscious she took the opportunity to run her awful experiments on him and tricking him into using the TAC machine to match his frequency to Alma's now that she is drawn to Beckett the point man in all this I'm assuming is either being picked up or escorted elsewhere or probably back in a remote lab with some new implants and more testing being done on him. Aristide wants to control Alma and as you pick up Intel from the levels especially the last one you see that you have fallen for her trap and she locks you away with Alma who takes advantage of you before absorbing you...Keegan was also in the TAC and she was using him as bait for you to follow. She now has a child of her own and nobody can take it away from her.

Feel free to add.

Hard to explain if you don't play the game. The storyline (psychic link, blah blah blah) makes sense for it, actually.

I thought it was unique, but to each his own. (Y)

Wow.

Just wow.

^ Dude didn't you read what I wrote. In fear 1 the person you're playing is alma's first son.

According to the intel you pick up during the game, both of Alma's kids where girls, including Paxton, it pretty specifically mentions that Paxton is a girl.

And to me I'd say it simply means you lost the battle of wills, or ended up in a draw anyway. You couldn't fight of Alma's psyche and and she merged with your mind, however since it's a merge the result is neither Alma nor you, it's both. ie you yourself became the son of yourself and Alma, or rather your body is.

Um, what? I don't remember that intel.

I think it was mentioned in two.

One mentioneing her two daughters, and one talking about how only one of them was found suitable for training and then ended up under Alma's control even while she was int he chamber, so they decided to cancel Alma and go with Harbinger.

One of them was the intel that listed what the different Armachams project names meant I think the other was on the pram mission I think.

Well I was pretty sure it said daughters.

But even if I'm wrong on that doesn't that leave another big hole in the continuity as well. Wether the intel said girls/female or not, I do know they said only of her children was used to try and make a psychic commander. That being Paxton Fettel, how could point man be the first kid since point man was obviusly then being trained as a military commander...

Maybe I need to go back to FEAR 1 play through it and actually pay attention to the story :)

I would recommend it...lol I've picked up every intel and no where does it mention Paxton or Pointman as females would be kind of weird.

Not to try and sound rude, but I don't even understand what you're saying now... Paxton Fettel is a man. The point man was the "first prototype" in creating a psychic commander from Alma. In the first game, near the end, I'm almost positive it's explicitly stated that you're "brothers."

Edit: Yes, Point Man was the first child/first prototype.

  • 1 year later...

Ok i dont think alma raped becket btw i was thinking about it and i am pretty sure that alma absorbed becket because how else would she be pregnant like that she wanted to absorb him and now hes like part of her so yeah so either you have to add some random other char in fear 3 or put in pointman who is epic cause i used cheats after i beat it XD i shot a guy 3 times in the head with the nailgun and he didnt die its funny

Guys, the two daughters isn't talking about Alma's kids, Paxton and Point man are both male. I think you read it wrong, and need to think back to the first game. It's talking about Dr Wades two daughters. The 2nd one is the blonde in fear 1, who's name I forget. The one you're suppose to go in and save but, uhh, yeah. And then Alma. (well, I forget which ones older between the two, but Alma had the power).

Anyways, old post is old, and fear 3 is coming. But from the sounds of it, as far as fear 3 goes, it really does look like Alma raped you, sure it's mentally (in a sense that it was more of a dream of sorts since she's actually dead). When you come to you're sucked into her alternate world (note the funky background etc) and she's knocked up. I really think that she's pulled you in (your mind) so yeah, at the end of 2 I figure you're dead heh. And it seems that taking your mental bits plus hers and bam, she's going to have yet another son because hell, she's lonely and they took her other ones (and she still wants them back). But now (for now anyways) it seems Paxton is dead, and PM (i'm hoping is still alive) at the end of the first game rejected her, so what's a lonely mother to do? :p

Anyways, I hope fear 3 has the PM back fighting to stop alma from "giving birth" to what will probably be teh anti-christ and new leader of her army of death or w/e. I'd hate it of they just introduce some new character outta nowhere yet again.

Glow 26.10 changelog: New Features The bootstrapping algorithm has been completely redesigned. The software can now launch directly without requiring TS Preloader. As part of this change, the startup splash screen displayed during initialization has been removed. In addition, spikes in CPU usage have been eliminated, resulting in a more stable architecture with significantly lower memory consumption. The Microsoft Office detection infrastructure within the Operating System section has been enhanced. Additional detection support has been added for Office C2R (Click-to-Run) installations. Furthermore, the license status evaluation system has been improved, and the priority order has been revised as follows: Licensed > Grace Period > Other (NOTIFICATIONS, EVALUATION, etc.). Bug Fixes Potential line-ending handling issues in the Office detection code within the Operating System section have been resolved. Additionally, the output format has been standardized to UTF-8 to prevent character encoding issues and ensure consistent data processing. Several stability and file management issues within the Debugging infrastructure have been addressed. Problems that prevented new log files from being created after Debugging was disabled, as well as issues causing debug records to be lost, have been fixed. File deletion and reaccess issues that occurred after file locks were released have also been resolved. In addition, a bug that caused newly recreated log files to remain locked after deletion has been eliminated. Unnecessary blank lines within debug logs and the extra empty line that could appear at the end of log files have also been corrected. A shortcut key conflict caused by assigning identical hotkeys to both the DNS Test Tool and the Donation page has been fixed. The DNS Test Tool can now be accessed using CTRL + Shift + D, while the Donation page is available via CTRL + Alt + D. Changes The service responsible for providing the Public IP Address and Internet Service Provider information in the Network section has been updated to use the ipinfo.io infrastructure. This change improves the accuracy and consistency of the displayed data. (No external requests are made while Hiding Mode is enabled.) Some terms in the Dutch and Korean language files have been updated to make them clearer and more user-friendly. [TS Updater] Before the update process begins, users are now prompted to choose whether they would like to view the release notes. Note: Always unzip the program before using it.
