Do any of you know a program that is better then NeoTrace 3.25 Professional for looking up IP address's? And The Actual location? Neotrace is ok, but its not very precise for finding the actual location.. i tried my AOL IP and it had me in Toronto, America, When im in the UK.. So do you know anything better?

I wouldnt really say Neotrace is very accurate!

I live in the middle of England, and when my IP is traced it says im in London..... If im tracing an IP/Domain I just go into the command prompt (Run --> CMD) and type "tracert whatever.com"

yeh i tried Visual route.. NeoTrace is better

both of these programs are only as accurate as ARIN records.

all these programs do is lookup to whom these IPs are associated and then just show it on the map.

i have earthlink isp, i'm in nyc, however earthlink's HQ is in Atlanta so all tracerts end up in atlanta..
