custom mouse trail

Ok so I like this girl and im going to do some custom work on her computer before she gets back. She has xp home. How can I set images of hearts for a mouse trail. Like i still want to default mouse pointer but I want hearts to trail it. 6 of them to be exact. Any Ideas? I dont mind editing the registry to do it.

Actually she wont. She enjoys it when I do things like that. I know its cheesy but still.

It's called CursorFX now, but I'm sure you've found that out in searches :)

Well if you really want to do this then install one of these shaddy mousr cursors

then set the mouse to 'trail' in your computer settings

You must have missed the highlighted part.

I know of no way to modify the mouse trail image independently of the mouse in Windows.

You may have to resort to setting a webpage as the desktop background, and then embedding one of those stupid DHTML mouse trail scripts in it.
