i wish they'd give the option to change the speed from Mb/s to MB/s, kb/s or any other choice you want

it sucks having to convert my speed every time i test it to a more commonly used format

I think a certian Antivirus program causes problems for speedtest.net

However in that perticullar case the speedtest result is genuine, I can get those speeds.

I actually have 2 Be connections going into a Pfsense box which then does some loadbalancing.

Speedtest.net appears to be multithreaded so will make use of both of the connections which is how I managed to get the speeds exceeding the maximum for a single ADSL2+ line.

Let's make this the "show your internet speed" topic.

I pay for 20mbit down and 0.5mbit up (i still dont get why our upload has to be so slow). 30gb/month cap, automatically pay more if I cross the cap.

From server closer (other site) I get

Download Speed: 19199 kbps (2399.9 KB/sec transfer rate)

Upload Speed: 490 kbps (61.3 KB/sec transfer rate)

Im on Virgin too and when ever I choose any of the UK servers I get the craziest of results, when i choose a server in Europe I get my proper speed, 20mbit.

The new design is great. :D I have noticed that there are some bugs in the system, that more often these day's, give you a false reading/result.
