Razer Destructor mouse mat

Recommended Posts

Never stopped using my Func 1030 Surface. Have had it for at least 3 years now and is in as good of condition as the day I purchased it.

Same. Using it now for 2.5 years, still in great shape (aside from the watered down paint stains on it that was 100% my fault). Best. Mousepad. Ever.

Nothing has come close to being able to replace my Icemat. Used it heavily for a few years, no warping, no fading, no stains or dirt. Tracks great, and still smooth as the day I got it.

I will cry when it breaks since they dont exist anymore.

I'm using the Razer Goliathus with my SteelSeries Ikari Laser mouse. I'm very happy with it so far. Playing L4D with great accuracy (it hits where I want to when I do a quick glide-and-shoot :D)

Btw, nice desktop set-up you've got there

My fianc? got one about a year ago and it was so nice when I tried it, I got myself a white one a few months back. I love it.

I bought the Razor Pro mousemat before I got my Destructor, it's nice and I still use it, but I hate the metal edging round the sides://

People still use mouse pads?:blink::

I find them far better to use than my desk surface. The mouse glides more easily and I don't have to worry about wearing away at my desk. They also make good and easy to clean coasters:DD

wow ive never given a second thought to my mouse pad over all the years but after seeing a razor pad recently and now this im pretty tempted to get one of those. so thin n pretty.

If you want a thin mousepad try the razer Sphex. It's only $14.99 in the us. Although I don't think it can even really technically be called a mouse pad.. it's just a surface. I've been using one for about a month now and I like it more than my Destructor.

The picture on the page is misleading it makes it look like a regular mouse pad but it's not, it's as thin as a piece of paper.

hrmm that is nice too, but does the sphex do anything, will my soon to be new wireless glide over it for games n photoshop work? I hope someone can answer yes cos that looks like a more affordable option

Yes. I think my mouse glides smoother on my Sphex than the Destructor. Just don't be shocked when you get it and think "this is it? that's all it is?". But believe me, it works quite nicely. Also note the back is sticky, but it leaves no residue when peeled up. And I haven't tested it yet but it's supposedly washable too.

To the OP I think you did a great review of the Destructor and I admire that you have that much to spend on the mat. It definitely looks swish anyway :D To Tragedy thanks for the sphex recommendations just got it then, cant wait to get my new wireless mouse to see how she goes. I cant believe these mousemats come with a certificate of authenticity, I distrupted the office laughing so loud at that. Cheers again guys :D

I just ordered the Sphex along with a Deathadder... I hope its good.

I think you'll be happy. Today just to test it out, I set my Destructor on top of the Sphex to see how they compare and the Destructor feels muddy in comparison, it's quite amazing.

I like the sounds of that :p. I have a G7, and it was a great wireless mouse, but now its got this double click issue, that is apparently an issue with the G7's, so I'm done with it, computer operation is 100x more difficult than need be :p

    • Yes for me, I installed 'old calculator' (Windows 7 calculator) in its place since it is more useful to me. I think paint is the only one I left installed
    • eh I'll wait for the June 2026 MVS ISO downloads which should be coming out next Tuesday June 16 and possibly contain build 8655 instead of 8653
