The way I see it we've got too many death knights not enough shaman, locks, or rogues (none).

In order to raid with some level of competence we'd be forcing everyone into sub-standard

specs to get required buffs. Priests with Imp. DS without locks. Warriors keeping up demo

shout without demo roar or CoW. Deathknights specing imp icy talons because there's no

WF totem, etc.

I get that nobody wants to do the 0-58 level grind but this isn't going to work if we don't have

some balance.

That does seem to be a problem.

I suppose I am willing to roll whatever we need and bust my ass on the current theory crafting.

Currently I'm posting from my iPhone. Internet went out and I'm not sure why. I live in a big student apartment building with 400 apartments. Hopefully it'll be on tomorrow after the servers are online.

Thank you wifi.

I actually started a pally that I plan to use as a tank.

The DK can be backup if we ever need more DPS.

Does that help the situation at all?

Dps is always the most abundant of class type. Everyone wants to do damage, no one wants to take/mitigate it.

Pally tanks are useful.

Dang iPhone.

Rogues are useless atm. My main is one and you can't believe how difficult it is for me to get into runs and put out decent damage.. just roll hunters & locks and we're good :p.

rogues are heavily buffed in 3.1

but all the hype seems to be in hybrids lately, and alot of ppl i know are giving their mains that were pure DPS classes and going hybrid..i did this myself and i havent looked back

Okay, I've been doing some thinking ( Oh Sethos, I hope you didn't sprain anything, huh huh ) and I just can't do the 1-60 on my own or without some sort of variation. So I just noticed a significant amount of money had been bestowed to my bank account and I was mentioning Recruit-a-Friend earlier. So you can invite me and get the benefits, I'll just buy the activation code.

So in order for me to do this, is there anyone out there willing to do Recruit-a-Friend leveling with me over the next week or so, mainly during the morning / afternoon due to the timezones, also, perhaps one of the Death Knights could give is a few runs through various Instances to aid the tripple experience bonus.

So any regular member ( Not doing this with 200 posts randoms or lurkers, sorry ) have the time to set aside during the morning / afternoon hours and willingness to do this? Means we could skip the boring part and also help out other members faster and become instance-ready ( 60 Instances, for kicks ) faster.

I'll probally be rolling a warrior as its the class I know and I've already started a DK on another server that a bunch of friends re-rolled on.

So you got an experienced warrior tank, just need to get RaF going, hoping I can later this week. Got exams to study for.

Animated is a DK, but I just made him to snag some easy gold to create the guild and get some bags. Haven't decided on a name for the warr yet.

You can recruit-a-friend with yourself (which is the approach I'll be taking). If you've got one copy of the game and are buying a second for RAF there's no reason not to go this route. The subscription fees end up cancelling out provided you finish in 1 month (that means you won't get the mount though).

If you're starting a new account I can offer to RAF invite you - I planned to bang out the grind to 60 this weekend.

I don't have a single copy of the game and I'd rather not go that route with buying several copies and whatnot, may cancel out subscription fees due to the free / awarded months but not sure I'll be playing World of Warcraft in a few months, so I'd rather play it cheap and have someone RAF me, someone I can do some questing with (Y)

If absolutely necessary I can roll shaman. My main is a shaman and I have excellent knowledge on all three specs (favorite being elem... pew pew)

I'd kinda sorta like to be something else though, but if needed I'll roll.

I understand where you're coming from, but post count on a forum is irrelevant when it comes to knowledge about a game.

I only have 400 some posts and could show you the ropes perfectly.

You're welcome to join me.

I'll be R-A-F my self, and dual boxing, unless you want to instead.

Let me know.

    • How does it compare to the "SeeStar S30 Pro" and the "Vespera PRO 2"?
    • Indeed. And note that those units are MUCH cheaper than this new Steam Machine...ahem.
