Vidar
Interesting about the WB theme. Looks closer to BlueCurve but.. Your's is a match. BlueCurve captions are blue.. They aren't purple... Schmoove
Well the like said before a 1:1 copy of bluecurve is not possible with the msstyle format, so you gotta play a little with it. WB offers more flexibility to create what you want. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/75345-vs-bluecurve-37/page/5/#findComment-813597 Share on other sites
klop
The problem when you create a folder on the desktop. I try to create a new folder called BlueCurve. I type the letter "Blue" and once you type the "C" all the rest dissapear... cake
Hey, nice and clean theme - me likes :woot: If I was being nitpicky though: 1. lack of mouseovers (eg. min, max, close) 2. verdana (that's what it looks like)... I just think verdana = "font of cheese" Great work though  Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/75345-vs-bluecurve-37/page/5/#findComment-813933 Share on other sites

Any other controls that lack mouseovers? 2) Hmmmm, well I can't find the original BlueCurve font, and this looked best with the theme in my opinion. naruchan
You mean the expand arrow that you get when you hide icons in the systemtray??I could change that. So if you have a better suggestion you could draw me a picture and then I can change it if I like it. I must say it's not my favorite part of the theme :) Actually, I was just thinking of removing the box containing the arrow and simply having the arrow instead.... so that it is more subtle. Just my two cents though. You are doing a GREAT job on the theme so far btw. Also, I've found the place where you can change the toolbar text (the text in the taskbar when you have toolbars showing) from light blue to another color - I think someone else had mentioned this problem in another post - it's in the Values\Rebar\ section. Just change the TextColor in the subsections to a color you like. :) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/75345-vs-bluecurve-37/page/5/#findComment-814083 Share on other sites
Schmoove
No he mentioned the white text on the taskbarbuttons when the taskbar is on the left or on the right, instead of top or bottom. In that case the text is white instead of black like normal. But thanks, I wanted to change the light blue color too!! Muchos gracias. Draaku
Vidar: For a 1.0 skin, this is top notch work Schmoove. Between winamp, trillian, the iconpackager theme, a Mozilla theme I found, and your visual style.. BlueCurve has indeed hit XP Any chance you can post the Mozilla theme you are using? devilotX
ok stupid question, how do I use that great styleshell that was posted just then? Fallen_Reason
That link is to the bluecurve shell32.dll, not shellstyle :p. Shell32 replaces icons, shellstyle is what skins the side panels in explorer To replace the shell32.dll, check out this tutorial Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/75345-vs-bluecurve-37/page/5/#findComment-815041 Share on other sites
Schmoove
"Search" and ye shall find ;)https://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?act=...40&hl=bluecurve That my friend, is not a shellstyle. That is a hacked Shell32.dll, which is not the same as a shellstyle. The shellstyle is the group of expandable taskgroups you get in the explorer, also called 'common tasks' sometimes. After you've finished pointing out my weaknesses, maybe you'll link the appropriate shellstyle? Soz dude - i r drunk. Also I don't use a Shell32.dll, I just use the IconPackager theme that I supplied in the download to change my icons. So I can't link you to much can't I? :) Get IconPackager and use the IconPackager theme, that's all I can do. Kamuii
I love you. The old one was a bit buggy and not a 100% representation. Schmoove
Shellstyle is ready and I also made a cursor set to match BlueCurve. Plus I'm working on a loginscreen. Gotte iron out a couple of small bugs and then it's ready for a new release.
