Anyone know where to get the program that displays the system resources that Schmoove has on his screenshot?

That's Serious Samurize.

Btw, does anyone know where to find the Bluecurve icons in 128x128 format? I've found the basic ones, but need the extra filetypes and folders as well.

This Theme ROCKS!!

Schmoove, any chance you could bundle some other redhat wallpapers? Or is someone else could post other cool redhat bluecurve walls?

Yeah sure, I'll try to get all Red Hat wallpapers for you. If I get networking between VMWare and Windows XP working.

Gonna try right now.

Thats Great! very thx good work , now i'm make one BlueCurve Cursors script,it can be autoinstall to your system...share for all guys. download link there

BlueCurve Cursors.install.script

http://many.54bb.com/mail/images/20030501/jlfsfsmq.JPG

Just added animated cursors to the scheme, and corrected some bugs i.e. alternate cursor, link cursor and the handwriting cursor. Animated for wait and working in background. To install just right click on bluecurve.inf file and choose "install".

Original script by cococol, original cursors by Schmoove.

I love you, schmoove. No, I mean like, really man, I love you.

The community support is great on this one, everyone seems to be adding they're own little dealy-ma-bob, it's really quite nice.

A tip on Samurize (he said he was new)- Don't overdo it. Functions? great. Funtionable? Schwanky. Takes up more than a small portion of the screen? Starts to turn people off. Takes up more than a small portion of the RAM? Continues turning people off. Takes up more than a small portion of time, digging through the volumes of information to find what you want? It'll turn people off like I turn off porn when my mom walks in.

Just a thought :) Minimalistic is dandy, functional is delicous, but I know that I think (*PERSONALLY*) The former is more important.

Here's the update. Just tweaked it and added the weather function. linked - you have a point about function over design, I'll try and keep that in mind.

Anyway, it's getting late (as you can see) and I need to grab some sleep. If anyone has any ideas and/or comments I?ll gladly look into them. If all goes well I?ll post the script tomorrow.

Nig:sleep:eep:

Is it possible to make...

http://www.thai.net/windowsxp/dropbox/pic0...05072003001.gif

when move the taskbar to the top of the screen?...

Ok I kinda forgot if it uses the same bitmap for the top and the bottom taskbar, so I dunno if that can be fixed. If it are two seperate bitmaps it is possible ofcourse. I'll take a look at it tonight.

Okay!

Post a link as soon as you finish! heh

And Schmoove is there going to have an update soon?

I just recieved my Shellstyle back from Gigatexel (he fixed some stuff for me, great thanks goes out to him offcourse!!!), so there is gonna be a small update on the shellstyle.

I'll see if I can fix the 'problem' (I don't really think it's a big issue though) mentioned above.

I'm quite happy on how it is right now so no really big changes in the near future (also no other color schemes in the near future btw).

Btw I tried to fix that height of the captionbar when in maximized mode.... but didn't work out. Gotta try some other things. In fact I don't really know if the height of the maximized captionbar is changable.... but we'll see.

Don't expect an update this week or next week. The things I mentioned are really minor things, I'll save them for a bigger update.

Retinal that Samurize script looks really really nice!!! Take these things in consideration though:

1) Those icons are nice, maybe the size should be a little smaller, not much just a little bit (24x24 ??).

It's up to you ofcourse, but minimalistic is good.

2) Like said before, keep the info you are presenting with it down to a minimum. I don't think people are really waiting for calendars, newstickers, embedded games etc. The way it looks now is just amazing and offers enough info I think.

3) Try it out with some other wallpapers other then the default BlueCurve wallpaper. A good script looks good on more then 1 wallpaper (the script you see in my screenshot on the first page only looks good on that wallpaper.... so consider that as a lame script :p)

Other then that, very very nice script, looking forward to see it finished and released!!!

I've worked on the script a little today. Removed the time & date (I can see the time in the bottom corner so it's kind of pointless). Changed the internet icon and tweaked the weather and progress bars.

Schmoove >As you can see the theme works best against block or blured colour backgrounds. I also tried using 24X24 icons but it didn't look right next to the section titles. I might included the smaller icons for people to change if they wish, or if I have time make a number of different versions for people to choose from. hmm.. /me ponders.

Anyway. I've got a load of university work I should be getting on with. I should release the script later tonight.

NB: I just noticed the spelling error on 'DREIVE C:'. It's already been changed now.

    • I've always preferred this possibility. There is something that feels good about the idea that all matter in the universe will eventually come back together and maybe even result in another big bang. The idea that the universe would fizzle out over the eons and forever drift apart is a little depressing. I realize it is not logical to let a basic human desire for life to have a grand everlasting meaning change the way I feel about a scientific theory, but I am human, so that is how I feel :-).
    • Windoze 11 could finally go to hell, instead of making me savor yet another error I've never had. "Bad Pool Caller" or whatever TF cryptic crap0la message it is. Adding salt to injury, it says something along these lines (on the blank black screen after it hard stops): "Your windoze needs to restart. You can restart." NO WAY SHERLOCK. The PEECEE, look, it's *blocked*, I can do jack sh1t with it as it is and you say that it needs to restart? Further, that I can restart? What am I supposed to do, take a herbal bath? Sudo a sandwich? Timewaster pile of useless slop and errors, coded by monkeys and force-fed on us by a pedo-founded corporation, that's all there is to it. Now, let's have a fun weekend trying to handle the error, which after a quick internet check can basically be due to EVERYTHING, from memory faults to drivers to motherboard issues. Thanks M$.

It emphasizes privacy by blocking trackers, ads, and ensuring your data isn't collected. With Zen Mods, users can enhance their browser experience with various customization options, including features like split views and vertical tabs. The browser is designed for efficiency, providing fast browsing speeds and a lightweight interface. Zen Browser prioritizes user control over the browsing experience, offering a minimal yet powerful alternative to traditional web browsers while keeping your online activity private. Zen Browser’s DRM limitation Zen Browser currently lacks support for DRM-protected content, meaning streaming services like Netflix and HBO Max are inaccessible. This is due to the absence of a Widevine license, which requires significant costs and is financially unfeasible for the developer. Additionally, applying for this license would require Zen to be part of a larger company, similar to Mozilla or Brave. Therefore, DRM-protected media won't be supported in Zen Browser for the foreseeable future. Zen Browser offers features that improve user experience, privacy, and customization: Privacy-Focused: Blocks trackers and minimizes data collection. Automatic Updates: Keeps the browser updated with security patches. Zen Mods: Customizable themes and layouts. Workspaces: Organize tabs into different workspaces. Compact Mode: Maximizes screen space by minimizing UI elements. Zen Glance: Quick website previews. Split Views: View multiple tabs in the same window. Sidebar: Access bookmarks and tools quickly. Vertical Tabs: Manage tabs vertically. Container Tabs: Separate browsing sessions. Fast Profile Switcher: Switch between profiles easily. Tab Folders: Organize tabs into folders. Customizable UI: Personalize browser interface. Security Features: Inherits Firefox’s robust security. Fast Performance: Lightweight and optimized for speed. Zen Mods Customization: Deep customization with mods. Quick Access: Easy access to favorite websites. Open Source: Built on Mozilla Firefox with community collaboration. Community-Driven: Active development and feedback from users. GitHub Repository: Contribute and review the source code. Zen Browser 1.21.3b changelog: New Features Updated to Firefox 152.0.1 Fixes Fixed transparency not working after updating to 1.21.2b (#14259) Fixed frequent crashes affecting users with Intel Raptor Lake processors Fixed an issue on macOS where choosing a PDF option, such as "Save as PDF", from the system print dialog would send the job to your printer instead of saving a file. • Microsoft, why can't I just turn off Copilot on my MS account (in order to stop OneDrive from wanting to summarize everything, ahem) in a way that doesn't break OneNote instead?
