Howcome when i install Longhorn Transoformation Pack, all the icons and logons,screensavers insstall but the THeme's don't show up in Display Settings-->Appearence ???

1. You didn't tick Install Longhorn visual styles

2. Patching uxtheme failed

Reinstall with Longhorn VS for 1 or download and run uxtheme multi-patcher for 2

Is it possible to extract the contents of this into a folder and just install the shell32's and msgina.dll's?? I dont want to install everything..

You can extract stuffs you need with /x commandline but VS are packaged in uha compression which need another archiver program to extract it.

Hmmm...I can't get the Transformation Pack installed correctly. When it takes me to the screen to Apply the new theme, right in the beginning, there isn't an option for it under Themes or Appearance. I installed the uxtheme patcher and ran it too. What am I doing wrong?

Perhaps uxtheme patch bug (solved better in 8.0) Get UXTheme Multi-Patcher 2.5.1 in forum for now.
