Why? He left for less money

I think it's got more to do with the reason why he left. Apparently he left because he has more of a chance to win the Stanley cup in Detroit. If i was a pens fan i wouldn't be too happy about that. As i'm an avs fan i couldn't care less :p

No surprise here after two games. The Wings are too good, and they don't even need Pavel Datsyuk (whom I feel is the best player in the league). How would the Pens be if they lost Sidney Crosby or Evgeni Malkin for the first two games of the Stanley Cup Final? Although, considering their performances, the Pens seem to have been without Crosby or Malkin the past two games. Don't get me wrong; most Pens players are trying, and playing well, but it is against a superior team.

I picked Detroit to win the Cup this year, and it looks like it's well on the way to becoming true. Yet, I'm not going to close that door yet. The Pens still have talent, and as much as I would prefer seeing the Wings win the Cup, it would be exciting to see the Pens claw their way back into contention.

Speculation on the Conn Smythe this year? If the Pens win, it will be either Crosby or Malkin, although either still have a chance even if the Wings win. Personally, I'd pick Crosby over Malkin due to the Russian's poor sportsmanship this postseason. His attack on Zetterberg late in the game last night was particularly embarrassing. However, should the Wings finish off the series, I would have to think much more clearly for which Wing deserves it. Certainly, the defensive and offensive talent of Zetterberg, Datsyuk, and Lidstrom should be considered, as each is capable in both areas. Yet, none has shone over anyone else. My decision would have to go with Chris Osgood. Panned well throughout his career, he is about ready to put on a fourth Stanley Cup ring. The man has only ever missed the playoffs once in his career. Many call him overrated, and while he is certainly not the greatest to lace them up, it is his clutch performances that have given him his successes. A poor regular season led to many to believe that the Red Wings had no chance this year in the postseason, but he has proved every critic wrong. It is an outstanding story. His first stint with the Wings could be considered the prime of his career, and then no one thought much of him ever again while he was with the St. Louis Blues. Neither was it noticed a great deal when he came back behind Dominik Hasek in Detroit. Yet, he came to return and backstop the team to what could be back-to-back Cup victories when he is considered past his prime.

Zetterberg is my pick, R-Flex.

@ ABLNN: The Pens aren't garbage. They just aren't as good as the Wings, IMO. But they can still come back. Never say never.

I like the Caps and if you ever watch the Caps play the announcers treat Crosby like a god and never say anything about Ovechkin.

Ovechkin's far better than Crosby... just IMO. He doesn't have the talent Crosby has and look what he did.

First person to win all four awards last year, (Art Ross, Rocket Richard, Lester B. Pearson, Hart Memorial), and he got a gold medal at the World Championships playing for Canada in the same year. This man uses his potential to the full extent and is one of the best Left Wings in all of the NHL, perhaps in it's history.

Well, at least tonight's game was enjoyable to watch. The third period was intense! Shame is, I'm gonna be busy Friday night, so I won't be able to watch the game... Maybe catch a few glimpses.

Does anyone know of a place where I can sign up to have the goals texted directly to my phone? Preferably Canadian, haha.

Yeah, 3rd period was intense. Made me swear quite a few times!

I watched only the 3rd period, and it was crazy. I can't believe how lucky the Penguins got with the rush the Wings put on. This isn't to say that the Wings didn't have the same luck in the first two games of the series. But, it seemed as if they had more luck in this game than the Wings had in games 1 and 2 combined.

Yes... I'm mad that the Wings lost. At least we get bonus hockey on Friday, which should be crazy as well.

i could care less who wins, but i really want crosby to go up to hossa during the hand shake, tell him to **** off and not shake his hand for being a trader.

Yet again: he left for less money to a team he thought he had a better chance to win with. Why are you so upset about this? I mean, the guy played against them when they got dominated -- who wouldn't feel the same way?

Whether he made the right decision or not remains to be seen.

    • Apple reluctantly forces strict new age checks on Texas users starting today by Paul Hill Apple will begin enforcing the Texas Age Assurance Law (SB 2420) following a recent court ruling that lifted an injunction on SB 2420. Starting June 4 (today), Apple will enforce strict age-verification and parental-consent rules for new Apple accounts created in Texas. This move will affect children under 18 who go to download apps or attempt to make in-app purchases. Apple previously expressed privacy concerns related to this law, but compliance is now mandatory for the company, nevertheless. Apple will use several APIs to follow the law. Principally, the Declared Age Range API will fetch the specific user age bracket (Under 13, 13-15, 16-17, or 18+) and a verification method. The Significant Change API (PermissionKit) will trigger a system dialog for parental consent if an app gets a major update or an age-rating shift. There is also a new property type in StoreKit that allows developers to automatically check when their app’s age rating has changed on a user’s device and then use the Significant Change API to request parental consent. Finally, App Store Server Notifications can be configured to tell developers when a parent revokes consent, blocking app launches. To ensure they are ready for these changes, developers must immediately use Apple’s sandbox testing environment to validate these APIs in their apps. For any developers out there finding this to be inconvenient, get used to it. Other regions, such as Utah, Louisiana, and Brazil, are looking at, or have implemented, similar rules.
