Veterans first, not that spoiled, unsportsmanlike, whiny player who I had hoped would never hoist the Cup. He takes stupid penalties, plays poor defense, and takes cheap shots at the end of games where he is losing.

I cheered for Detroit, but I am still happy to see such an incredible series, and an incredible Game 7. Hockey is alive and well. I was disappointed to see yet another arena boo Gary Bettman, dampening the great spirit that permeates the Cup ceremony, but it was great to see those faces. Conversely, I hate to see the Wings on the bench with those faces of supreme disappointment, but the Pens deserved it. They outplayed the Wings in the last two games, with Fleury, Scuderi, and Talbot with the big plays that won the Cup. It wasn't Crosby or Malkin, but a Pens team that won that Cup. Those last second heroics were fantastic, even for someone rooting for the Wings. We couldn't hope for a Game 7 any better, barring an overtime period that mirrored the great play of the first three periods.

Well done, Pittsburgh and Detroit!

For anyone watching the CBC feed, was anyone else confused about that guy talking to Rob Scuderi? The one who was yelling about how Scuderi's hard work had paid off, and that's why he was a champion? Who was that? It didn't sound like a coach or trainer as it did a drill sergeant congratulating his charge.

The end was painful to watch simple due to Hossa swapping teams and losing

I was rooting for Detroit, but I'm happy Crosby gets to hold the cup... it was nice to see him come back to play in the third period. He was hurt, but still tried to play

They did it by seniority. If they had to do it by skills, it would make sense to hand it to the goalie, and then the players.

Most people were already cheering and showing their respect to the Pens when the Cup was presented, but everyone cheered the second Lemieux lifted that cup again.
