[Cancelled] Heroes Season 4 (Volume 5 : Redemption)

Recommended Posts

nope there's like 8 more episodes to go yet returns end of January and this could be the last season.

Can't happen soon enough, this show is a boring train wreck now. So many squandered story lines and characters, a shameful waste.

I feel sorry for Rene.

He's constantly being called in to meet with a random character, who then uses him for his ability and then leaves him standing there without so much as a, "So how's your day been?"

Poor guy :(

 Peter did say Thanks for coming though... Should of brought him a drink or something!

Why didn't Peter use his life/death ability to bring Nathan back instead?

You know, I try not to find obvious plotholes in movies and shows (especially in shows like these) and just enjoy what they give me but it's getting really hard.

We have nothing confirmed and I am pretty sure my direct sources with NBC will not confirm anything but E! Online is reporting that they have a "well-placed Heroes source" that says NBC is planning to end Heroes after this season and that is why Sendhil Ramamurthy was cast in that new NBC pilot.

What NBC pilot? "My Father's Re-search" ?

"Heroes" actor Sendhil Ramamurthy is (perhaps) moving on from the show to another project at NBC.

Ramamurthy, who plays Mohinder Suresh on "Heroes," has taken a role in the network's drama pilot "Rex Is Not Your Lawyer," joining David Tennant, Abigail Spencer and Jeffrey Tambor in the cast. Jane Curtin has also signed on.

The Hollywood Reporter says that "Rex" is in second position to "Heroes" for Ramamurthy, meaning that "Heroes" would take precedence if both shows wind up on NBC's schedule next season. (Both shows come from NBC sibling Universal Media Studios.)

Ramamurthy has been absent from the past couple episodes of "Heroes"; when we last saw him, Suresh was being checked into a mental hospital by Hiro (Masi Oka) in attempt to hide Suresh from villain Samuel (Robert Knepper).

"Rex Is Not Your Lawyer" stars Tennant ("Doctor Who") as an attorney whose panic attacks make him unable to argue before a judge; he then switches to coaching clients on how to represent themselves. Ramamurthy will play a colleague and friend who's secretly in love with Rex's fiancee (Spencer).

"SNL" alum Curtin ("I Love You, Man," TNT's "Librarian" movies) will play Rex's mom, a law professor who has a thing for her son's therapist (Tambor).

"Everyone is expecting this to be the last season. The cast, the crew, everyone" says a crewmember to E! Online.

The once critically acclaimed show has seen its reviews drop off and ratings continually dive to new lows ever since it botched the finale of its otherwise superb first season.

Episode is definitely a bore compared to last few. The whole Samuel scenes are getting redundant. All of his scenes seems to be the regular "I want something," "you go get it for me but I can't tell you why," and then someone gets stood up. This time it was Noah. They better get to the real part where Samuel actually starts harnessing his power and revealing his true nature. Actually might make me think a Sylar vs Samuel is more likely than ever before the season ends. Or will Sylar finally turn to the good side when he realizes the world might end in the hands of Samuel?

Is there a direction to the season? There's no general headway for the show now is there, there's the carnival, Sylar and then everything else that just doesn't tie anything together?

    • Just the price of doing business. The scamble to pull as much from the web as possible is happening, and it's happening before a case like this changes how or what is legal do to with AI in terms of data harvesting. But even then as we've seen with the likes of Google who ignore cookie requests and just accept the fact they'll get fined, it's built into their business price model now. AI is here, its not going away. Their reward if any from the court case would be best suited to trying to incorprate AI or licence their end points as authentic human verified content. The problem is, as we've seen these same news papers are using AI themselves.

    • This Chinese company is reportedly developing a feature Apple and Samsung can only dream of by Hamid Ganji While companies like Apple and Samsung have been relatively conservative with their devices’ battery capacities in recent years, Chinese manufacturers have taken the competition to the next level by introducing significantly larger batteries. However, the latest report from China suggests that a local company may already be developing a smartphone with a whopping 14,000mAh battery. Chinese leaker Digital Chat Station claimed on Weibo that a smartphone maker is developing a device with a 14,000mAh battery. If true, it would be the largest battery ever used in a smartphone and could, in theory, provide up to a week of battery life on a single charge. The leaker did not reveal the name of the company behind the device, but there are some clues. This week, HONOR unveiled the X80 Pro Max in China with an 11,000mAh battery and 90W wired charging support. The company also launched the Honor Win in January, which packs a 10,000mAh battery. HONOR, a former subsidiary of Huawei, has a proven track record of developing smartphones with unusually large batteries. However, other Chinese brands, including Xiaomi, have also launched devices such as the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max with 7,500mAh batteries. Though Chinese users on Weibo also believe the company behind the new battery is HONOR. Interestingly, Digital Chat Station said the device with the 14,000mAh battery weighs around 220 grams, making it lighter than the Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max (233 grams) and slightly heavier than the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra (214 grams). The iPhone 17 Pro Max currently packs a 5,088mAh battery in eSIM-only versions, while the Galaxy S26 Ultra features a 5,000mAh battery. Neither device is expected to see a dramatic increase in battery capacity in its next-generation successor. So when it comes to battery comparison, Chinese brands are unbeaten. HONOR smartphones are currently available in the EU, but the Chinese brand has no official presence in the United States due to restrictions imposed by the U.S. government.
