[Cancelled] Heroes Season 4 (Volume 5 : Redemption)

Recommended Posts

I really hope it's not the last episode. They could finish this show off good if they really wanted too.

Yep, Peter could wake up and realize everything since the end of season 1 has been a poorly scripted dream sequence and we could get back to a good series.

To be fair, it should be for the best...

not really especially if there's no real ending, would rather have a proper ending then it just ending with a hint at a new arc

Jack Coleman has revealed that he is expecting Heroes to return for a fifth season.

Speaking exclusively to Digital Spy, the actor - HRG on the NBC series - said that the season four finale will enable them to "wade" into a new volume.

"It's an ending which Heroes does, which is closes one volume and opens another," he teased.

"It poses the question of what might happen with the lid torn off and everyone aware of these powers and no longer able to hide or deny it.

"I don't know if we're coming back or not - I expect that we are, I hope that we are, I anticipate that we are. We have opened a new volume and I think we will wade into that new volume."

Coleman added that the cast are likely to find out about a renewal in March.

Heroes concludes its fourth run tonight at 9pm on NBC in the US and continues Saturdays on BBC Two in the UK.

Tim Kring has offered fans an explanation for the fourth season of Heroes.

Speaking behind the scenes during filming for the 'Redemption' finale, Kring claimed that he had the carnival story planned for a while.

"We really wanted to explore this idea of what would happen if people explored the idea of presenting themselves to the real world and telling the world that they exist as people with superpowers," he said. "What would happen?

"The carnival represented this idea of people who were living just on the outside of society and were hiding in plain sight by being here but not really here - they come to your town and then mysteriously disappear in the middle of the night."

He added: "They sort of mix with people and use their superpowers, but people think they're carnival acts. This story brings in literally all of the characters we've had over the years."

Samuel's lines were so cheesy and unbearable to watch. Just imagine being an extra during his speech, and having to yell "yeah!!" "that's right"!!! How dumb those poor people must have felt, lol.

Anyway, I was satisfied by both the finale and the season. The writers are still clueless:

- Sylar becoming good overnight (even though this time it was an elegant way, unlike the mess season 3 was)

- Hiro's storyline was a mess. I had it when his mother came back from the death to cure cancer

And sure, the whole 'brave new world' thing sounds nice and all, but will it work for a 5th season? Claire's gone public, so they're going to have to address that. Can the writers take it?

Besides, I never understood the importance claire and some other others gave to being exposed.

I liked Sylar being a "Hero" for a change. I it's nice to have him as a good guy although he plays a very good bad guy too. :)

Hiro's finally going to get off that little boy quest of his. YATA!

Peter was awesome in this past episode, it was almost as he was ungimped and not a flake. He worked well with Sylar.

Claire is a real moron. Glad she isnt' so all into the Gay scene. That aspect really ****es me off the way the media pushes that on the general public. Unfortunately too many simple minded fall for it.

Jeebus that was awful. We wait all season for Samuel to battle someone and him and Peter push some dirt around? Claire finds a new way to attention ######? Hiro becomes more boring to watch? And Sylar makes an awful good guy, they had already watered down his villain status to something pretty boring but that was just lame. I hope they let this show quietly disappear and not try to fix 3 seasons of trash scripting and continuity gaffes.

It was okay, like most of the season finales. I thought Sylar would be in it more and expecting a bigger battle with Samuel and Peter. Liked how Ando supercharged Hiro to teleport all them people out though.

Lets see what Volume 6 brings..

My thoughts exactly

    • I used a Pixel 10 Pro XL when it first came out for about 8 months. When I first got it, it was using Google assistant and that was fast, when asking it to call somone etc. Then it automatically switched with some update to Gemini. Doing even the simplist of things like asking it to call someone in my contacts was soooooo slow compared to Google assistant. I guess it had to go out to the cloud to do that? Back on iPhone and while Siri is dumb right now, it does do those simple things, like call someone, set a timer, star the stop watch etc, really fast. That an while I like Google Material Design 3 over iOS 26, they Pixel 10 Pro XL was so slow in comparison to the iPhone 17 Pro I am using.
    • I use Gemini in my rotation of AI clients...that work pays for. It is good at most things, better than copilot for imgage searching and making images, worse at writing vs Claude and way worse at hadling technical issues when it comes to Azure stuff. I also use YT premium and maps. Anything else Google is a pass for me. I have now seen multiple people locked out of their Google accounts for reasons that are just very vauge.
    • Microsoft is building an AI datacenter that "uses less water than a fast food restaurant" by Ivan Jenic Image: Microsoft Microsoft has announced plans to build a new datacenter campus in Pecos, Texas, as the company continues to invest billions in AI infrastructure. The new facility, called project Kilby, will reportedly have a capacity of 2 gigawatts and will be one of the largest single capacity additions in the company’s history. To power the campus, Microsoft signed a 20-year deal with Chevron to supply natural gas from the Permian Basin, America's largest oil field. This deal is set to become the largest collaboration to date between a U.S. oil and gas giant and Big Tech. It’s no secret that Big Tech has often been criticized for exploiting natural resources for its AI developments. Microsoft is trying to mitigate some of that negative consensus by promising to build its own power supply for the new datacenter, independent of the public grid. The Pecos datacenter will be powered by a power plant hub, built by Chevron, with up to 2.5 gigawatts of gas-fired capacity, with potential to scale to up to 5 gigawatts. The facility will include at least seven GE Vernova turbines, with first power potentially coming online as early as late 2027 or early 2028. The power plant hub is part of an approximately $7 billion investment by Chevron, making it one of the largest dedicated energy projects tied to a single datacenter campus in the U.S. Microsoft hasn’t publicly disclosed the amount it’s investing in the new datacenter. Microsoft has also committed to implementing a closed-loop cooling system that will only require an initial water charge to operate. The company said that “the total lifecycle water use of this datacenter is only a fraction of that consumed annually by a typical fast-food restaurant.” What the press release doesn’t mention, however, is how much water the natural gas plant itself will consume, or how a 20-year fossil fuel commitment squares with the company's pledge to be carbon negative by 2030. The construction of the new datacenter should provide over 6,000 construction jobs at peak build-out, and create hundreds of operational job roles once the facility is built. Via: Reuters
    • A lot of uncertainty in this story. Might. Could. Maybe. The truth is we don't know what will happen to the universe in the end, or if it will end. Our own Milky Way galaxy will merge with the Andromeda galaxy in about 2.5 billion years, with our solar system as part of a new, larger cluster. I guess we'll have to and see how it goes down.
