Properly Uninstalling an SLI card

How do I uninstall a second SLI card?

I did these steps:

1) Disable SLI in nVidia Drivers

2) Remove SLI "bridge clip" between cards

3) Disconnect power on second card

4) Start computer again

However when I turn on the computer the computer literally screams with one loud long beep. Oops!

Did I miss something?

You have to remove the card from the system as well. The loud beep is because you have the card installed with no power going to it.

I'd remove the drivers completely, remove the card and do a re-install.

You forgot to toss the nVIDIA cards in the trash. Most important step of all! JK

Ah okay, this is wierd because I have two machines configured exactly the same and one machine has the loud beep but the other doesn't.

Computers are strange!
