fokuz
Hey, I recently got a AT&T DSL modem and at first was running fine. like 5-10 mins later, i notice a series of timing out and "address not found" on browsing. then it would eventually go back to normal like 10-15 mins later. wierd that even when this is happening, if im downloading a file or join a multiplayer game i can play and the downloads will keep going. but browsing is ****ty. i tried searching with avast, ad aware and malware, still nothing. i pray that someone on here can help me out with my issue... OH YEA, I forgot to mention, one time when I clicked on diagnose, it said that my firewall can be the problem and to change tcp port to 80. how do i do this? +BudMan MVC Posted May 5, 2009 MVC Share Posted May 5, 2009 sounds more like a dns problem to me.. Your using your DSL modem as your dns most likely. Try using opendns http://www.opendns.com/ Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/766686-att-dsl-modem-problems/#findComment-590947142 Share on other sites
