[Cancelled] FlashForward - Season 1

Recommended Posts

Previous episode was a dissapointing filler. But, the next episode looks promising and will hopefully shake things up.

My thoughts exactly. Want to know more about Simon!

WHO is this hot ass girl that keeps popping up in my favorite shows lol..she was in True Blood and she's in that promo you posted Rappy.

This episode was much better than the last one for sure.

On a side note..am I the only one that thinks the detective binford dude looks like some sort of lizard in the face? lol

I think this is getting good now, it sort of took a couple of episodes though.

Anyone thought about this flashforward this way...Say for the sake of argument, the flashforward showed the future exactly as it would occur. But the question is, had those people not had the flashforwards, would the future still read as the same as if they did have a flashforward.

Or is it that the flashforwards have initiated a sequence of events which will cause that future reality to occur.

Interesting things! (if anyone could follow my logic there?!)

I dunno..at the end of the last episodethe two guys were talking about how their experiment killed so many people so I'm thinking everyone seeing their future was an unpredicted side effect.

Yeah you are right, but then I think people seeing the future was the intention, not the idea that everyone got knocked out whilst doing things that ended up killing them?

I dont know, it will take a few episodes to become clearer.

I do have a feeling that the explanation will really bug me, i prefer not knowing. Once you know its just a bit of an anticlimax.

The towers seem to be interesting though, secreting gas maybe>?

I haven't read the book, but from what I have heard the show doesn't intend on following the book. It just took the idea of flashforward and built their story upon it.

that was my feeling because the book is pretty short from what I seen.

    • Not such a great deal, Ultimate, which gives you full 5080 features is $181.99 CAD per month, that's $2183.88 per year, I can buy the 5080 for $1809.99 CAD, then it goes up to $279.99 per month after the first billing cycle. Typical cloud rental, costs more than buying the hardware.
    • Wow, spoken like a true blind hater, you don't even provide arguments. Please, go check my comment above to @seacaptain and you'll find out why what you say doesn't make sense in this context...
    • Get used to this, with AI tooling now uncovering new vulns and getting them exploitable far faster than has ever been possible before software is going to need to be updated far more frequently. Back in the day it may take reseachers weeks or months to do what AI can now do in hours. Once its a threat is discovered it's weaponsized far more quickly, meaning you simply can't be waiting 2, 3, 4 weeks to deploy a patch, it needs to be patched immediately. Going to be interesting handling this in the enterprise space where traditionally patching has been steady, but very staged (and rightly so up until now), that is going to have to change.
    • You don't need to "close all browser sessions constantly" or wait for updates to install. The updates download in the background while you use the browser, without interrupting you, they install automatically the next time you launch the app. And they install very fast (depending on your storage speeds, of course), you have to wait at most 2-3 extra seconds, if any. Seems like you haven't used Edge in a loooooooong time...
