Foobar + Sleep/Hibernate

Is there any way to make Foobar respect my power settings? If I pause the music and try to hibernate, it won't until I close foobar or when I forget to turn the laptop off and foobar is still open, a couple of hours later, it's still on, doing nothing useful. Settings don't seem to have anything that lets me change it to work with the power settings.

Foobar v0.9.6.6 running on XP SP3.

Event Viewer shows this: "A request to suspend power was denied by foobar2000.exe."

I just wish there was a way to enable/disable this setting.

Hum. I can't get such behavior to reproduce on such a system.

Any suggestions on how I can get it to reproduce? Does it happen with a brand new install?

I haven't reinstalled Window for almost a year now but I assume it would be the same. To reproduce it, I do this:

- Open foobar

- Play and then pause the music

- Try to make the pc sleep/hibernate.

It doesn't happen when I stop the music but I don't think I'll always remember to stop it when I go out or something.

Sorry for being unclear. I meant a clean install of foobar2000, like without 3rd party components.

Seems like Advanced Controls plugin was to blame for this. Laptop hibernates fine without it. Thanks for the help.
