Need help making theme transparent

It may seem like a simple issue to fix, but I guarantee it hasn't been easy. I've tried damn near everything to get my new Windows 7 visual style for Vista transparent, but it just doesn't want to go. Anyone have any suggestions? It's really bothering me. Yes, I've patched it before I installed the theme. Then rebooted and installed, everything went smoothly, but it's all a solid color.
