Terry Farrell

According to the message boards she's a stay at home mom these days. Supposedly she left for that other show Becker which was kind of a flop...

And she date Worf in real life?

She wanted more money iirc.

She left for another show... Becker. A few seasons later on that show she wanted more money (sound familiar)... they wrote her off of that show too.

Because she was being a typical arrogant actress and asking for more money than the rest of the cast so they wrote her out of the show.

According to this, she was fired because Paramount refused to give her a raise after the third season of Becker. A couple of other actors joined her and they ended up getting a raise but she... well, they definitely made an example of her. I know, the post I linked to isn't exactly reputable but who knows. It might just be true.

Anyway, she was a great actor in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. It was sad to see her [character] go.

IIRC, it was b/c her contract was up, and DS9 was about to end. She could either pass up the Becker opportunity, be on DS9 for one more year, and then have to look for another show one year later. Or she could take up that opportunity, which allowed her to remain in the TV business longer than any of her DS9 castmates.

Great actor? I do worry when people make such claims - compared to really great actors, she was a typical sci-fi female.

And I was glad she left, cos they brought in the ultra-****able new Ezri Dax.

Yes, she was a great actor. I don't know why you worry. Just because she played a science fiction character doesn't make her any less skillful. I've seen a lot of movies and TV shows and she really stands out to me. Though, I have a feeling that you aren't the type to appreciate genuine acting skill.

She has stood out to me also, as a genuinely standard actress. She recites lines and all emotion seems forced - using the "must wrinkle my forehead to show emotion" methods.

Retarded comment of the year.

I loved Terry Farrel in DS9. But I'll admit it, I loveeeeee Nicole de Boer. She's soooo freaking hot. And back then, she was like, 22 or something and soooo cute. And, and, omg she did that mirror universe episode where she made out with intendant Kira, in the leather...outfit...brb.

Anyways, yeah.

    • Anyone who expects MS to play fair is a complete idiot.
    • Everyone behaves like Internet Explorer just never happened and Edge is whole new thing all while Microsoft is pulling the exact same ###### it did back then. Sigh.
