Warehouse 13 is an upcoming American science fiction series to be aired on the SyFy Channel in July 2009.

The show centers on two Secret Service agents, Myka and Peter, who work at the government's Warehouse 13, which houses supernatural objects. They are assigned to retrieve missing objects and investigate reports of new ones. The dramatic comedy, from Universal Cable Studios, is described as part The X-Files, part Raiders of the Lost Ark and part Moonlighting.
Former Battlestar Galactica toasters Tricia Helfer and Michael Hogan are staying in Sci Fi's orbit, signing on to guest star on the net's new paranormal dramedy Warehouse 13 (premiering July 7). Helfer will play a Chicago-based FBI agent, while Hogan has been cast as the father of Warehouse heroine Myka (Joanne Kelly). In a fun little twist, Hogan's real-life wife, Susan, will play the role of Myka's mom. And if that's not enough BSG for you, Mark Sheppard (who portrayed the Fleet's morally flexible lawyer, Romo Lampkin) will appear as enigmatic figure who represents the organization that controls the Warehouse.

Sounds pretty good, I'll give it a watch especially with BSG peeps in it!

It is a pretty decent show, allready upto episode 10, and it is something like a mix of The X Files with... I dunno haha, but yeah, definately worth checking out. Basic premise of the show is the agents go out and recover 'artifacts' from the past, which have magical properties of some kind. They then bring these artifacts back to Warehouse 13 for safe keeping.

Anyway definately worth checking out. :)

Also, it got renewed for a second season on SyFy, so you know they are onto something!

the show started out quite interestingly.... but i feel that the stories have gotten thinner as the season has progressed.

i nice way of explaining what the show is about is a direct quote from the first ep:

Artie: And that is exactly what we do here. We take the unexplained.. and we just safely tuck it away in this super-sized Pandora's Box.

Pete: Metaphorically speaking.

Artie: Well, actually, Pandora's box is over in Aisle 989-B. Empty, of course.
