Too bad getting it looking anything like that takes a LOT of effort. I've tried and given up numerous times - just not worth the effort. Even the one-button Ubuntu gfx driver install never worked.

Yeah, downloading a decent wallpaper and getting a one-click-installable gtk theme and icon theme from gnome-look.org takes a LOT of effort.

Installed one GTK theme, one Emerald theme and one icon theme. Ain't no rocket science.

You're probably confused by the abundance of really ****ty themes for the various components. You'll just have to filter all **** out and then try to mix and match what looks good, to see if it actually fits. --edit: And proper fonts. A ****ty font ruins everything immediately.

Verrrry nice xp1ode! Mind sharing certain details? I'm especially interested in gtk-theme, icon-theme, and how you got that mac-esque bar at the top!

no prob, the gtk-theme is a modded version of Wasp, icon theme is here and the gnome-global-menu you can find it in this thread

:o GW! I spent a lot of effort to run that on wine, but alas! - intel integrated gfx means minimal 3d support no matter what you do :)

Yeah Luckily I have an Nvidia card, but my hubby ran GW in Play On Linux with intel integrated only for a while you might wanna give that a try. Of course he eventually bought a new Video card.
