"Kimbo Slice" scores "The Ultimate Fighter 10" slot

One of THE MOST dirtiest cuts I've ever seen. That Abe guy gave a pint of blood to the ring.

And lol at the ending segment, looks like there's going to be some real heavy stuff going on in the series.

Yeah man I cringed at the end you could see the bone :|

lmao at Rampage in future episode smashing the door in...I really don't like Rashad Evans and Kimbo isn't going to do well I feel.

LOL, yeah, that's exactly what I felt aswell when I saw the door taking a beating. Something BIG must've happened to cause that. Rampage does flip his lid sometimes. Did you see him shout at the end of the fight and leave? LOL. "We're not gonna touch gloves again, alright..."

You're delusional if you think he's not going to get a UFC contract regardless of how he does on the show.

He has to win his first fight, sure, but after that, no matter what he does he's getting in.

Yeah I know that I didn't say he wasn't going to get a contract just not do well on the show, he might stun me but I just feel everyone else is alot better skills set wise.

haha yeah Abe just got taken down everytime...the blood though was crazy :|

The rules are what makes a difference.

I doubt very seriously that any of these guys would take a fight with Kimbo outside the ring.

What does this mean? I wouldn't say Kimbo is overrated or that he sucks... he's just not

ready for rules matches. But he IS a badass.

"The rules are what makes a difference."

Do you mean Kimbo Slice's specific street fighting rules? Only stand-up punching was allowed. No submissions, no grappling, no kicks or knees or elbows.

"he's just not ready for rules matches"

Or do you mean no rules whatsoever? Kimbo's street fights had restrictive rules, see above. As a striker who predominately punches, Kimbo would want to keep a fight standing, with grappling to a minimum. Rules if anything are helpful to Kimbo Slice. I strongly suspect no rules would favor a well-rounded mixed martial artist. For example there would be no restriction from kneeing/kicking to the head of a grounded opponent, ie repeated knees to the head in a side mount.

That said, Kimbo Slice seems like a modest man, I hope he does well on TUF.

I'm shocked! I was sure Wes Shivers would win the fight. I had convinced myself right up to the time the decision was made. I mean, he had more take-downs, more chances of being on-top, more attempted submissions, more powerful punches. The other guy only kicked more. So what if Shivers got tired. Both were tired. The judges are stupid.

KIMBOOOOOOOO NEXT WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!! Roy Nelson is good, but Kimbo maybe better.

MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) has learned from sources close to the situation that Kevin "Kimbo Slice" Ferguson is likely to fight on the live finale of this season's "The Ultimate Fighter 10."

Slice revealed in a media call earlier this week that he was preparing for a December contest, and while a brief exchange led many to believe that bout would take place at UFC 107, MMAjunkie.com has learned that to be unlikely.

The Ultimate Fighter 10 Live Finale is scheduled for Dec. 5 at The Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.

While sources indicated Slice was likely to appear on the evening's card, what's still unclear (and of course, required by all with direct knowledge to stay under wraps) is how Slice makes it to the final show.

Slice was defeated by former IFL heavyweight champion Roy Nelson via second-round TKO in Episode No. 3, which debuted on Wednesday night. While that loss eliminated Slice from immediate contention, UFC president Dana White reminded all viewers that an injury to another competitor could easily put the former streetfighter right back into the mix.

Spike TV's production of the Episode No. 4 preview also fed into that theory as Slice's fellow Team Rampage fighter and new friend Marcus Jones was seen struggling to deal with a knee injury that was first shown in last night's episode.

Of course, the live finale does not consist solely of tournament finalists, and Slice could simply be asked back as a participant in one of the remaining bouts on the card.

While it is unknown whether Slice's potential Dec. 5 bout is planned for the evening's main or preliminary card, the ratings success of this season's show ? spurred primarily on by the former EliteXC star ? would seem to dictate a television slot is likely.

Rashad has a new opponent now!

With Quinton "Rampage" Jackson withdrawing from a December contest with Rashad Evans (13-1-1 MMA, 8-1-1 UFC) to pursue an acting role, "Sugar's" next move has been uncertain for several weeks.

That period is over.

MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) has learned from sources close to the fighter that Evans and Brazilian Thiago Silva (14-1 MMA, 5-1 UFC) have verbally agreed to meet in the co-main event of UFC 108.

Evans first mentioned the possibility of the contest to AOL FanHouse in September, citing a brief exchange of glances at UFC 102 in Portland, Ore., as the genesis for the contest.

"Thiago Silva is a good fighter; I'd like to fight him and I think he wants to fight me," Evans told AOL FanHouse. "When I saw him after he fought Keith Jardine, he kind of gave me a nasty look that I interpreted like he wanted to take me on, and I'd like that."

Evans' wishes will now apparently become reality, and bout agreements are expected to be finalized shortly.

Evans seeks to rebound from the first loss of his five-plus-year career. The 30-year-old lost the UFC's light heavyweight title in May when Lyoto Machida dropped him in the second round of their UFC 98 main-event contest.

Silva also recently suffered the lone loss of his career to Machida. After suffering a first-round knockout to "The Dragon" in January, Silva has since bounced back with a TKO win over Keith Jardine at UFC 102.

UFC 108 is scheduled for Jan. 2 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and is expected to feature a main event between current UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva and challenger Vitor Belfort.

It looked like the fight was stopped out of boredom more than anything else. Pretty unimpressive "victory" tbh.

So? why should he go all out to win and get banged up doing so when he's got more fights after? they have a lot of fights in a shorter period of time then their used to, you win while receiving as little damage as possible so you will be fine in your next fight.

I don't know. Roy took him down almost at will and once he had him there he was able to pass guard (what guard?) very quickly and get to a dominant position. Kimbo was totally useless on the ground. If it was unimpressive blame Kimbo for not putting up a better fight not Roy. Roy Nelson did everything he had to win.

I just said it was an unimpressive win for how he reacted after it. I'm not disagreeing about Kimbo. Once he was on the ground it was game over. As Dana White said though, Roy wasn't really hitting Kimbo that hard and he wasn't bleeding at all. It was just an overall boring fight.

    • Here's how to watch the Xbox Games Showcase today and what to expect by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe The June games showcase week has been a packed one, with everything from major presentations like Sony and Summer Game Fest to indie-focused reveals coming in almost every day. Now, it's almost time for another big one, with Microsoft bringing its Xbox Games Showcase back later today. This is a double feature too, with a Gears of War E-Day deep dive also being attached to it. For anyone wanting to tune in online, the 2026 Xbox Games Showcase is kicking off at 10 AM PT | 1 PM ET | 6 PM BST | 7 PM CEST later today, June 7. The event will be available to watch on the official Xbox YouTube (4K 60FPS), Twitch, Facebook, Steam, Amazon Live, and other portals. Separate livestreams for American Sign Language and Audio Description will also be available. "This year marks 25 years of XBOX, and this Showcase is poised to be a true celebration, offering world premieres, new gameplay, fresh updates, and more for a swathe of projects we cannot wait to share," said Microsoft about this presentation. With a new CEO behind it that is pulling off some interesting moves, Xbox may have some surprises to reveal today. New looks at first-party games like Halo Campaign Evolved from Halo studios, Fable from Playground Games, InXile Entertainment's Clockwork Revolution, Mojang's Minecraft Dungeons II, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 from Infinity Ward are to be expected here. We may finally get to see the new Blade from Arcane Studios in action and a new Persona game from Atlus at the showcase too. Surprise announcements may also arrive from other Microsoft-owned studios like Bethesda, MachineGames, Ninja Theory, Obsidian, Rare, World's Edge, or Blizzard. Considering how every new release nowadays is staying away from November and December to avoid Grand Theft Auto VI's release, any launch dates Microsoft announces will probably skip those months as well. Once the Xbox Games Showcase ends, Microsoft will immediately kick off the Gears of War: E-Day Direct. This deep dive into the upcoming prequel from The Coalition should attach gameplay footage and perhaps a release window to the highly anticipated project.
    • People in the '50s and '60s had the same attitude, and we're still here over a half century later.
    • So after some fiddling I was able to get it to run at a pretty stable 30FPS. I'm slightly surprised about how much fiddling I had to do to get there though given what I thought was reasonable hardware: Processors: 16 × AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS w/ Radeon 780M Graphics Memory: 16 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor 1: AMD Radeon 780M Graphics Graphics Processor 2: AMD Radeon RX 7700S I think I could do it better if I use Linux rather than Windows, Windows RAM usage is stupid without stripping the system down. But once I got it working in a reasonable state, it was so awesome! I felt like a new Bond! If anyone has any advice to get things going a bit smoother FPS-wise, I'd appreciate it.
