Here is a free 1 Month Xbox Live Code to anyone who is smart.

Recommended Posts

Last year, my xbox got the RROD, when I sent it into xbox a rep called me and gave me a code for 1 month of xbox live to say sorry for the problem. He read to me the code and I wrote it down. I repeated the code and confirmed everything correct. I saved this code thinking I could use it now since I am done with finals. Now I realize I am missing 1 digit b/c an xbox code is 25 digits total as I only have 24. I am too lazy to go thru the millions of various combinations but its either a number or letter in any order. So cheers to anyone who can find it!

I don't want to see this code wasted as I know their are hackers in neowin who can figure this out.

So here is the free 1 month xbox live code as I wrote it:

So to any hacker out there who can create a code to figure out the missing digit, here you go!!!!

If you ever solve plz post wat the missing digit was cuz I am just really curious as to which character I missed.

come on i know u guys are smarter than this!

The missing character could be anywhere, a possible 25 positions. The missing character is alphanumeric, giving 36 possibilities. That's 900 possible solutions. Nobody is going to sit down and try out all 900.

unless someone might do it just for kicks :p

or someone will ring microsoft and lie about his situation :p

Doesn't major nelson and acey bongo release codes all the time for things on twitter, with one or 2 digits missing?

They always get snapped up in seconds

Yes, but those tell you where the code is, so it limits the number of times you have to try to a max of 36. And sometimes they even tell you if it's a number or a letter, making it even easier.

Can't we use Combinatorial or Permutations to figure it out? Since he did give every other letters and numbers in the correct position, I am assuming.

Figured it out.

Thanks for the code.

wow CONGRATZ!!!! that was faster than I thought. Can I ask how did you solve it? I am like everyone else I dont want to go through the fuss of doing 900 permutations either but i know that there is always someone out there in the internet to figure it out! and hey its a free 1 month of xbox live, sounds worthy enough!

How would that make someone smart? Making a program in c# to randomly generate all combinations and try them with the online code enter page on xbox.com would be fairly simple.

The OP said the code is for anyone that who is smart. :p I don't have a technical reason.

    • IBM are good at announcing stuff, but not at actually delivering it... How many decades ago did they announce quantum computers, and here we are in 2026, with CHINA delivering them, and IBM still talking...
    • It sounds like you’re trying to rewrite a narrative to align this layoff with your political beliefs. Games can be horrible, whatever backwards notions you have don’t change that bungie has problems, mostly with just bad games, and arrogance. When they pushed Microsoft to let them be independent they lost their way. They hired on a bunch of people and they couldn’t justify the employee count consistent with their revenue.
