Win2k3 And Partition Magic 8

Okay i want to split one of my hard drives into 2 seperate partitions and i have partition magic 8 but i can't install it on windows server 2003 as it won't let me, can anyone tell me if theres anyway of getting it to work or some other program or method of splitting the hard disk in two without wiping the hard drive as i want to split the hard drive to precisely to avoid having to do that.

you could try using the pm8 floppies. otherwise, you will have to erase the drive, install a supported os, install pm8, split the drive. but if you erase the drive, you might as well partition it then. :p

Power Quest have separate product called "Volume manager". It works on server platforms,It run on Windows Server 2003 too, but you must run install in compatibility mode, otherwise installer recognize Win 2003 as Windows XP. Volume manager run without any problems under Windows Server 2003.

Neither is Windows 2003....if you can afford the Server OS, applications arn't anything to worry about.
